Seven Wagons by The Sonny Downs Quartet

The Sonny Downs Quartet presents Seven Wagons, the first track from the recently released album Heptology.
Seven Wagons was performed on a Buchla 200e, with no edits, cuts, or external MIDI sequencing. This piece shows of the microtonal ability of the 200e. As with all pieces from Heptology, Seven Wagons incorporates just intonation septimal tuning (ie. focusing on 7-limit intervals) and uses seven in the rhythm as well.

Hey Brian! Thanks for your support. The cost of printing vinyl is very high at the moment, and I also face the problem of high shipping costs from Australia. At the moment, I can't see any vinyl costing less than USD50 per record, PLUS shipping. If there is enough interest, I would consider it. I would like to have it on vinyl myself. Hmmmm@@browe

I’m curious as to which voices are provided but he NLM 2AT and whether you may have used the internal VCAs without resorting to any additional dynamics manager like a 292e.

Definitely didn't use the internal VCAs. I actually recorded this one a while ago, and to be honest I can't remember which voices are 2AT, but it is definitely there. Hmmm... never thought of using the internal VCAs for anything other than fading - I wonder if they do percussion?
