Wow! 🤩 Probably the best presentation on different uses of Hobonichi weeks I’ve seen here in KZbin, and trust me, I’ve seen a lot 😆 Yours just stands out! Carefully thought of-the use of photocopies to illustrate examples is so systematic and super helpful. I’ve come up with my own list of uses too but you presented unique ones I’d like to adopt 😁 Thanks a lot for this! I’m definitely subscribing to your channel 😉 Keep up the great work 👍 👍

To be honest, I had no clue what to do with the Weeks. Haha. My Cousin suits me so perfectly I had trouble getting out of my Cousin frame of mind to structure the same information in the Weeks differently. But I'm glad you got some ideas out of this video~ Let me know if there are things you do in your Weeks that I haven't talked about here =D

Glad you found a usage for the weeks ! The weeks will be my personal agenda where I will write all my private stuff and my own company related stuff (hours worked ....) the hobonichi original will be my job agenda (also work part time in a company) and constantly need to take notes and updated on all issues. Love your videos !!!

I'm so sad to tell you that I changed my mind and decided to use the Original as the reading journal. And now I have no use for the Mega Weeks again. *sobs* Your planners for 2018 sounds like they're all set up and ready to go though! =D

Thanks for sharing! I love how versatile the Weeks is! It can be a simple planner for all of your life's domains or just one part of your life (like meal planning!) Speaking of meal planning... I'm impressed by people who can stick to their meal plans! Usually what happens for me is that I go to the fridge, pull out a random slab of meat and then stand there for 5 minutes trying to figure out what I wanna do with that meat!

Love this! I use the left side for appointments/events and day specific tasks. The left is for general tasks, notes and shopping lists as needed for the week. It worked so well for me last year, that I'm going back to it after realizing the Cousin isn't working for. I still use it for journaling though.

Another awesome video! You put so much thought into making the most effective use of every aspect of the Hobonichi! I've been using my Weeks to track just my finances. I log all my purchases on the left side by day and on the right I list my Etsy purchases by store with a total at the bottom of the page because I'm trying to manage my spending in this area. If I can see all my purchases as I go I have a better chance of not going overboard. I use the back pages to track all my online purchases and when I get the shipments so that I don't forget about them. I'm planning on trying out the mega weeks this time. Not sure how I'm going to use up the extra pages, though.
@yukikosakamura6498
@yukikosakamura6498 6 жыл бұрын
Oooh, that's one thing I don't track--my finances. It frightens me to have to confront my spending! But if I did track my finances, I'd spend the extra pages in the mega weeks writing down reasons to stop buying that really pretty Hobonichi cover that I saw... or any other things that catch my eye. =p

I am sorry someone was so incompetent in getting you payment that my birthday was not a happy day for you that year! I love this video! Thank you, for the autistic in me, thinking of the reflections part of my blank page, maybe I should not try to fill each day to the same width as the left page. I will have to think about it.

You and me both! The Weeks is also new in my lineup! I'm changing my mind about what I'm gonna use the Weeks for because I remembered that I own an Original (LOL, out of sight, out of mind!) that would be more suitable as a reading journal. Darned. Now I must find another use for the Mega Weeks!

Great ideas! I’m planning on using my hobonichi weeks as a financial tracker. I liked your idea for using the days as a review of what you are reading and I do something similar in my hobonichi cousin daily pages. Thanks for another helpful video!
@yukikosakamura6498
@yukikosakamura6498 6 жыл бұрын
Hm... Would you leave your financial tracker at home or do you bring it around with you? If you bring it around, are you afraid your financial information will be seen by other people if you lose your Weeks? That's my main concern about putting financial info in my planners...
@ashleycunningham6614
@ashleycunningham6614 6 жыл бұрын
I would be nervous too! It'll live at home. I keep financial info out of my carry-everywhere planner (Hobonichi cousin). I just like to have one compact place to keep an eye on expenses and the little weeks will work well for that. Also the notes pages are great for sketching out budgets, keeping track of savings (for a particular goal) and taking notes during phone calls with the financial advisor. I guess I could use a notebook but I like having the calendar as I have specific savings/financial goals for each month.

the first two ideas are my favorites. I like the 2nd one because it allows me to either schedule or track how i'm using my time. and speaking of tracking, I wonder if there is a good way to use this as a habit tracker. I'm tracking daily and weekly habits and practically need to be hit with a taser to remember to stay on task.
