In 1983 I bought 1 for a $1000. Bench seats, pull down arm rests, column shift, power steering and brakes. A bit of vibration in the early 90's but settled at a ton. My dog loved the comfy leather upholstery being a German Sheperd. Fond memories of car camping out of Canberra.

How the hell did that car survive all these years...and who would have ordered it new?? Electric blue, power steer Fairlane 500 with T-bar auto and white interior...seriously that would have cost the same as a GTHO.
