You try singing/screaming while playing drums and you'll see why Morgan uses a backing track for his vocals live. There's a reason drummers don't usually do vocals in a band because it's really difficult to do without getting winded and having it sound terrible as you're flailing around on the drums. Rare instance where a backing track live is acceptable.

Honestly I grew up with sevendust but it seems like LJ leaves out a lot of the key parts of the song and let’s the backtrack or the other band members do it, like I wanted to hear the beginning sung by him and shit Yk

The beginning is Morgan's vocals, not LJ. And yes, Morgan's vocals are on a backing track. It's quite difficult to sing/scream and play drums at the same time so backing track for his vocal parts is acceptable. Most of this song is trade-offs between LJ and Morgan hence why he's not singing in parts because it's not his parts.
