When Home came out when i was 11 years old, the metal lady neighbor we knew took us to see 3 Doors Down (before anyone knew who tf they were), Sevendust, and Creed. We were all the way in the front and when they came out with this song the pit opened up so fast and all of us kids were right at the edge of it. Some mexican dude with a joint in his mouth rescued us. xD Sevendust kicks ass live

I had heard a couple songs from them a month before. I was blown away when I first saw Sevendust arrive at Woodstock 99. Loved the nu metal percussive riffs meets groove meets Lajon's soul. Left such an impression on me. Guess what shirt I'm wearing right now?

Seevendust and the DMX set are my favorites frome this show. Both Lajon and DMX both started off wearing all red but they each stripped down like bad ass's. Each of those sets mean alot to me. But the whole entire line up was still sick. Im a fan of alot of those prformers to this day.

It’s the 90’s bro. We were all just stoned and having a good time. Now everything is uber political, even wearing a freaking cloth over your damn mouth.
@christopherkimber76794 жыл бұрын
I played a show with this band in Atlanta that had a black guitarist and his amp had a confederate flag on the front of the mesh. Back in the day it was just a southern thing. Didn’t really have racist overtones. Everyone is just too sensitive to EVERYTHING these days. Back then we didn’t care, because racism wasn’t a thing the way it is today. It still isn’t (IMO), people are making it a thing where it doesn’t exist.
@Hendrix9503 жыл бұрын
what a stupid thing to say. i agree people are more sensitive nowadays but that flag is not an innocent little symbol
@vesuviantitan94823 жыл бұрын
@@Hendrix950 it’s made into something it’s not. It was a battle flag, not the confederate states of America flag. Neo nazis and the kkk used it for wrongful purposes so everyone associates it with that. Southern people don’t fly it in hate of a skin color. It’s no different than rioters and looters using BLM flags and LGBTQ flags during their wrong doings. Most people who supported the BLM movement and the Lgbtq didn’t want their symbols to be used for that. But unfortunately it did. Do I think all people who fly BLM or lgbtq are criminals ? Nope those flags weren’t created for that purpose. Neither was the rebel or “Dixie” flag. It’s all in how you take it. Social media and TikTok trends tell you to feel a certain way about one another to try and dive us all. And for a lot of people it’s working by what you see on the news. But if people would just go interact with one another like they used to before the Obama Trump and Biden era, we wouldn’t have these issues.
