Any time I start getting bored with my music collection, I go back to my Sevendust and get excited bc they bring it front to back, every cd. They are just a melodic, heavy, incredible band with so many great fucking songs. Lajon's harmonies are original, amazing, and always resonate bc he's genuine. No one sounds like Sevendust. One of the greats. my top 5 easy

Far and away my favorite Sevendust song of all time. And this is possibly my favorite performance of it.

I agree with all of u Ive been listening to sevendust since I was like 17, im 25 now and their music really has meaning and their live shows are the best. This is what music should be about the passion and what you love. The music that these kids listen to now is just pure garbage and the music industry is all about money! These people now days arent artist their puppets that the music industry sends out to make them money. Sevendust will always be my favorite band. Much love and respect

@sickspastic you're correct he did come back before the release of that album. Roughly 2 weeks before though. The album had already been done. If you look on the CD in the booklet, the guitar players on that album were John Connolly and Sonny Mayo. Clint had 0% to do with that album and he even talks about it in interviews, how he had nothing to do with that music. I promise you, Clint had nothing to do with that. This has been my fav band for 12 years so I'm a bit of a Sevendust nerd lol

@halfbidfor5 I think I know what he means. Lajon's voice is amazing, but I prefer when he smooths it out for some more melodious parts. His ability to contrast is what I like but this version uses more raspiness than the album version...which I think meyler prefers to the accoustic.

Listen to 90% of today's rock bands live, and compare it to the album version. Just goes to show that real musicians like these guys don't need heavy post-production editing to sound great.

If Sevendust was person here's how its day would go: Sevendust wakes up on a bed of nails and eats mortar for breakfast. Then walks a komodo dragon to the park where it eats other people's pets whole. For lunch, Sevendust goes to a Civil war reenactment and beats the shit out of the actor cuz they looked at Sevendust funny. For dinner, Sevendust smashes TVs with a cricket bat, then eats the glass with a side of lighter fluid....all in a day's work for a Sevendust!!
