My word! You have such a way of looking at things! I look and don't see much. But when I see through your eyes, it's magical! Like your mother, I imagine. I'm sitting here in my recliner relaxing. My kitten has climbed into my lap purring and is demanding tummy rubs! Never had a feline before that loved tummy rubs! I was born in '68. I had paper dolls when I was young! I just remember getting so frustrated because the outfits would fall off! LOL! I would watch another 55 minutes of your treasures! So enjoyable! Thank you for sharing!

What a fun trip to the thrift shops! We went to one today but didn't find much. I found one recipe album with cute cards for writing out recipes that looks like it's older than me and I was going to use them in journals, but my daughter loves it so much that she wants to use it for its original purpose so she may have it. I love that you found the images for old poetry books. My Oma used to buy those for me when I was a child in the early 80's and I loved them! They had ladies in Victorian dresses and flowers and so many pretty things! Good, good memories - thank you.

Amazing finds! When I was a girl, I loved getting stationery sets. This weekend I went to the flea market. Found 3 for $1 maybe silk scarves, 1 from Japan and 1 from Paris. Gorgeous colors. Got them to use in journals, but now I'm having the "I can't cut these" moment. 🤣🤣

This was sol lovely! I watched it all, and ate my lunch! I went thrifting a couple of days ago, too! I got some flower pots and a basket. Also, a small sewing machine that I plan to keep in my craft studio. I am a seamstress and have very good sewing machines for fabric. I don't want to sew paper on them! So happy to find a "hobby" one. I got 14 books, too. They are 49 cents a pound! One about plants I had to keep and not cut, as it was about how to care for house plants! I recently have new ones, and ones I'm "babysitting" for a friend as she moves, so I really need to read it! Thanks for inspiration of many varieties! "see" you tomorrow! Hugs! Peggy

It's nice to know I'm not antique, being born in the Summer of 1961!😂 I have 6 of the Artbins for my metal die collection with at least 6 magnetic sheets in each. nice finds!! For the magnetic die case, if you cant find additional sheets, you could consider the magnetic sheets you can find at Wibra (i think for 1 euro or something) and then cut them to size, you can just cut it with scissors.

Tie a bunch of string through the button shank then you can glue it down better. That works for buttons with the shanks.

Hi Margreth! The small yellow box with a swann on it was to contain some "nickel-plated brass pins", like it is written on it. I don't know what for but i suppose there were pins to maintain pieces of fabric for sewing. Sylvie.

On the stamps that are self inking, use a piece of scotch tape on the letters and it will clean them up a good bit, you can also get ink for them, just make sure you get it from an office supply store and tell them you want self inking stamp refill ink. Most have a top that pulls off and you just drop a couple of drops into it and let it soak in over night. If no top that opens, you just turn it upside down and drop the ink direct on the stamp. Again letting it soak in over night. You can also refill the date stamp, it should have a pad that pulls out. Sorry but I use to work in an office supply store and remember a lot from there., Love the table cloth and napkins. TFS

At 16:19 the shiny black discs are similar to ones I have for papers, journal covers, that are sold by the Levenger Co. The paper has cut outs on the spine side, the discs are used to hold the papers into the covers. The pages can be removed and put in another section in the journal.

All the linens that have stains I soak in water and Oxyclean. Most stains come out. I think epingles are pins -- on the square tin.
