seventeen did give a lot of feminine energy in their choreo because it was made by kirsten dodgen!! she's a very famous choreographer and starred in a lot of music videos like sorry by justin bieber and swalla by jason derulo

"Spell"...one of THE MOST beautiful, gorgeously seductive, spellbinding, mesmerizingly sexy songs EVER! It feels like a spa where where you're pampered and breath in only sparkly blue air... Sharing a couple of comments under two other reactions that might give you some insights regarding Seventeen's Performance team MV: 1. I love how Hoshi gave credit to Afrobeats in their spotify zip-party video and that they hired the talented South-African dancer Kirsten Dodgen to do their choreography for Spell. It should be the bare minimum but unfortunately many don't even give credit. 2. The tarot cards...part of the major arcana and they has meaning. Jun is the apollo, the8 is the heart, hoshi is the wings and dino is the arrow. Their cards also have a number on them in roman numerals that directly corresponds to their order in seventeen, eg, hoshi is the 5th oldest so his card says V. When the8 (the heart) gives his heart to jun (the Apollo), their card becomes 0. This number signifies the “fool” suggesting that they both become fools of love, because of love, essentially casting a spell on them. At the end you can see dino represents earth with the flowers, jun on the beach with water, hoshi and his angel wing as air and the8 as fire because of how he’s dancing in front of the sun earlier. Adilla kia akia syurapoe is a gibberish sentence to emulate the spell that they’re putting us under, a language that only two lovers would know, something that no one else can understand. There’s many other theories and meanings and it is all very interesting and meaningful. There’s also references to icarus as hoshi only has one wing in the beginning, could symbolise how he flew too close to the sun, when you’re so in love it can burn you and break you too
