Yes Bts really had good results enough good that they managed to left some groups from big3 behind. They ranked 3rd in album sales after Exo and Bigbang. But at that time what Bts achieved is not enough that a rookie group debuted in 2015 will look upto them. At that time the rookies of 2015 looked upto Shinee, SUJU, Bigbang, Snsd, 2pm, Wondergirls etc., they don't even idolize Exo who are considered more successful than Bts at that time. This type of questions are more appropriate for the 4th gen groups not 3rd gen. Its like asking Skz that did they idolize NCT, asking TxT that did they idolize Skz or asking Aespa that did they idolize Itzy. What Vernon said its a fact Bts in 2015 is not successful as compared to now Bts. I don't get it why the toxic armys are pissed from this statement. I think I get it the toxic ones are newbies who stan Bts after or because of their achievements. Old and true armys know that what Vernon said is a fact and I am happy that they are defending him💎

Sooooo true, MC just think kpop is BTS and “other” without realize seventeen and BTS were basically growing up during the same era, both group got their 1st win during 2015 too!

I’m also happy that Vernon becomes the first one to basically educated some western white people in the entertainment industry that you don’t compare groups just because they are both Korean band, like how about asking Katy perry how do you think of yourself as compared to (I don’t know maybe lady gaga?)

hey bts album sales are not in third place, but they are ranked first as the singer who has the most album sales in korea. Even the combined sales of exo, bigbang, and seventeen have not been able to match BTS's album sales. I'm just letting you know, not demeaning other groups.
