Many people speculate S.Coups wasn't supposed to be the leader predebut. That role was fulfilled by another trainee (Doyoon, another 95 liner who was one of the most experienced trainees in the lineup with Coups and Woozi) but Coups had to step up to the role when Doyoon suddenly left predebut. And so, S.Coups, who didn't have natural leadership qualities, was the youngest in his family and was used to follow rather than be followed, had to take on the heavy responsibility of leading 12 people to debut and success... Trying to gather the opinions of 12 very different people into one cohesive thought for the company, defending the member' well-being and creative freedom, having to be the role model of the group (no being late, coomplaining about schedules etc...), balancing his friendship with the other boys and his authority over them etc... It's no wonder the burden gets too heavy for him at times :(

and also just before their debut he really doubted himself if he was worthy to be a leader and thought that woozi should be the leader instead of him. i hope i can tell predebut scoups that he has successfully lead the whole group to greater heights and that he is the best leader i have ever seen

And during his this hiatus he wrote KIDULT, I always cry listening that song😭😭😭😭 Coups is such a dependable and great leader and a very very nice humble and sweet person with a very bright personality, and yess an extreamly talented person in anything he does, What else is needed to be evident that he is one of a king and the best!

That accident hits harder because i was there, suddenly the mc told us that cheol and jeonghan can’t continue to perform. Everyone can’t be 100% happy for the rest of the show since 2 of our lovely members were suffering. That was my first and last concert i attend bcs of covid. Till this day it’s still hurt and was a traumatic experience.

you know what's extra gut wrenching? that was the last time scoups performed for carats in person since by the time his hiatus ended everything had been cancelled bc of covid :'( and if offline caratland had happened this year scoups would've performed for carats in person on his birthday for the first time in 2 years :'''''(

I had almost same experience with him and how Scoups motivated me .i had anxiety . I studied really hard in the past,at the end 2019.. i felt like i want to quit everything.I took a long break and that time i discovered seventeen . I accidentally watched this ep of hit the road and made me realized,if he could overcome it why i couldn't? then i went back to school and now i'm in college :)

May I ask u how you came back after it..coz rn I have a huge exam coming and anxiety have hit me so hard on how to face it..I've been preparing hard but I still feel I have lot left!! Please tell me if u can my exams are like in next month..pls

@@aerita7608 Same for me as well . I didn't go to school for 7 months and I went back on August 2020 . On Nov 2020 there was a huge exam which was the last exam in school before going to college and university ! My advice for you , don't work too hard because you will only feel tired and stressed . It is not easy but take your time . Manage your time and make sure to take a good rest . For my past experiences , I didn't study really hard and after 10 pm i just went to sleep everyday. Don't think about what result you will get . My result was not so good but what I got in school doesn't really affect my life . I still go to a good college. You still have time to improve in your life ❤️ Your life is precious ! Do not overwork yourself ❤️ The key is 'DO NOT THINK TOO MUCH'

i remember this being the hardest episode to watch ): it made me appreciate him so much more and i feel like thats why Left & Right meant so much to us carats cuz it was the first comeback after the tour. UGH a dark time for us all, but i'm so glad he's happier and healthier
