Once the members did a live and a fan commented ‘I don’t understand but I love you’ meaning they don’t understand what any of them are saying since there’s no subs but they still love them😭and hoshi really loved it and decided he wanted that as the title of their unit song!! Love transcends languages and all that🥹🥹it’s my fav song on the album

6:59 that’s S.Coups (he’s also the first voice in the song) leader of Seventeen and the Hip Hop unit. Not sure if you noticed, but “I don’t Understand But I Luv U” is a Performance unit song (Junhui, Hoshi, The8, and Dino who are the main dancers but can clearly SING-sing and rap) so Woozi isn’t in the song vocally, but he writes and produces all of seventeen’s music including unit songs (unit songs are usually co-written/produced by the members in the unit too. Like for this song Hoshi & Dino (who are usually the main choreographers) participated in writing the lyrics.)
