glad i discovered your channel, i love content like these! i hope you *heaaarr* me out... i recommend GOING SEVENTEEN. they are in their honest and real self in their own content. they all have extremely distinguishable personalities, communicating, reacting and handling situations (i always find it fascinating whenever i rewatch episodes) although those episodes are around anywhere between 20-40 minutes, they talk over eachother a lot and throw in a few inside jokes. BUT - they're all in different concepts, so no need to start in a certain episode. the recent episode titled *"know thyself"* which is about members doing eachother's personality tests; it's an easier episode to watch for new watchers - also at the same time very funny. you can EASILY remember their names because of their way of making themsleves stand out, and how other members go so well with them. all going seventeen episodes are just the best content for analyzing, it makes it so much enjoyable. they are one of the groups that i can see are the most geniune, and has the best chemistry than the other groups i stan. it's the reason why their own show is considered the "running man" of kpop, a well-known variety show in korea for their chemistry and entertainment. :) GOING SEVENTEEN Know Thyself - kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3nGf4aepatni9E (it also has a second part) GOING SEVENTEEN Commentary - kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3jCfaBjiriDnbM (a number one recommendation. they look back and talk about all their past episodes of GOING SEVENTEEN. it is entertaining and great for analyzing. this episode makes it easy to know the member's names and their variety show as a whole)

i'm sure ALL fans would agree with this!! you should definitely analyze the famous *"jeju fight"* between dk, seungkwan featuring jeonghan. (i'll paste the link) besides going seventeen's "know thyself" and "going special commentary", it's such an enjoyable story to analyze. the reactions, the way they reenact or recall the event, and how they tell the story in each of their own perspective is so funny!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJutZ4lmiq55ers - the clip happens at 8:17 - the whole video is also entertaining - two of the chinese members jun and the8 are not in the video

I think Jun really projects his voice because he's not a native Korean, so he always makes sure he pronounces the words correctly and in a volume that everyone can hear. He's also an actor since he was 3 years old, i think that also influence this. When he's speaking his native language (chinese) he speaks at the speed of light lol

And to add, normally contract negotiations happen individually each member separately with the company but it was actually Mingyu who insisted they all discuss it together as a 13 member group with the company. it's funny bc hoshi is actually very shy around other people but he's known seventeen so long he gets REALLY funny and loud and engaging with them. you hit it on the head re: the8, wonwoo, and jun; they have their own mischievous sides but in interviews and promo they let other members do the heavy lifting. scoups is their leader and has been the group's go-between for themselves and the company/management for a long time, so he has great clarity and reasoning when he talks. lastly, joshua and vernon are korean-american but vernon moved to SK early on, while joshua moved to SK in his late teens. joshua's first language is english so he often takes more time to think through his sentences and express himself in korean. this is really cool to watch, esp how often you're accurate ab the members. 👏👏👏

Seventeen is not going to split up anytime soon They all re-signed their contracts which makes them the first group with more than 10 members where everyone resigned The „I am not Seventeen anymore“ is part of the trailer for the album and since it is their 7th year they have kind of a new beginning as a group because the 7th year is the year a lot of groups disband because they don’t resign their contracts (the 7 year curse) And they dropped the album a day after their 7th anniversary which makes this album even more special

When it comes to jun and the8 (real name: minghao), sometimes they may seem quieter because they're actually both from china, they're not korean so korean is not their first language, that's why you can see jun struggled a lit bit while reading. Jun is actually an amazing speaker, he is just very shy when they're in front of cameras but he has come a looooong way, he used to be extremely shy he even used to cover his face. Right now he is a lot more confident than before and he engages a lot more on interviews, it's surprising but he's actually an extrovert. But he really is an amazing speaker, the members have always said how an amazing speaker jun actually is, when he speaks he expresses his ideas in a very clear way and so does minghao, minghao just likes to be an expectator, he likes to listen to the members, he isn't really eager to speak but when he has to he does it really well too. They're both more on the quieter side on interviews like this.

I just want to say THANK YOU for the hoshi appreciation!!! A lot of people don't realise how good a communicator he is! I think because alongside Seungkwan and DK, he has the image of a jokester in the group. And he DEFINITELY does have that sillier lighthearted side to him lol, especially with the members since he's obviously very comfortable around them. But he is also one of the leaders! And the members, esp of his unit (performance) have cited how good a leader he is many times, including iirc an interview where they mentioned how earlier on in Seventeen's career where Jun & Minghao didn't have a great grasp of Korean, he took a much bigger role in interviews and such so they didn't feel pressured to. And later on when they were more confident, he stepped back and encouraged them to speak up more. I've always noticed he is actually very good at reading the mood & room around him and responding appropriately, and usually knows when to step up and speak himself, and when to pull back and/or encourage some of the quieter members to speak up. He's a lot more thoughtful and emotionally intelligent in his communication than people give him credit for!! Also re: hoshi, he himself says he considers himself an introvert, and has got introvert on the MBTI tests he did himself & one done on his behalf by other members. He's one of the interesting cases of a more confident/loud introvert (at least, with seventeen and people he knows well, lol, he's much more shy and reserved around less familiar people), but he definitely values his personal time and inner world too, from the way he's spoken about it, and the members tease him about him "insisting" he's an introvert when he's so loud and boisterous sometimes, but also acknowledge he definitely does have that introverted side to him too. Like you say, on the scale he's definitely closer to the middle than far at either end I think! Sorry, I could speak about Hoshi for days. He's such an interesting person!

How many people said that same about ikon, but then if you watched Bobby admit he feels awkward with all his members and doesn't want to talk , or the members admitting they aren't that close and don't know much about each other or whats going on recently. You gotta remember idols are ultimately required to make their content interesting, appealing, so giving good reactions and helping conversations flow is actually also quite a part of their job. Especially svt take it very seriously to try bringing entertainment and fun into their content, you'll see that watching "going seventeen" series. Even if their chaos and shenanigans are genuine and it's their authentic group bond and dynamics that make them so funny and endearing, they do actually make active efforts to add comedy, keep a smooth good mood, bring out interesting stories or situations on cam

When they themselves did an MBTI test, they got the same, when the others did an MBTI test for them, they got the same, and when a professional on personality and temperament conducted a test for them, they got the same again. Idk, it's just interesting that two people who seem so different are so much alike. They are close friends, and the expert said their temperament changed to match each other's so that's super cool. (THE MBTI VIDEOS REALLY SHOWCASE THEIR PERSONALITIES BTW).

And I was so impressed how fast you identified who is who in seventeen. I d love to see your reaction on the going Seventeen episode 37/38 of 2020 about bungee jump. It is very interesting on the communication stand point. The members have to agree on a forbidden action/word for a specific member and of course try to fool him so that he does it. So it is about knowing well the others, communication tricks, brainstorming and decision making and also ability to detect what sounds "fake" in what others say. Plus each member has his spotlight moment. Clearly an unusual format but very interesting for communication tools.

It's kinda like SKZ One Kids Room, but without as much commentary from the other members. Thanks for reacting to them! I really love seventeen and I enjoy watching you dissect their mannerisms and dynamics, they're a chaotic bunch but I think the unique bonds they share between each other are so unique and fun to observe.

1:29 agree with how you describe s.coups as a leader, he usually don’t talk when it’s not needed because he always makes sure that all the members are given their own spotlight. when a member don’t talk, he automatically proceeds to point them and ask them their opinions or basically lets them speak.

Interesting facts to know is their ages, roles, sub-units and how long they knew each other because you can easily trace how their different personalities greatly shapes their current dynamics

I always wonder why I always look at Joshua even though isn't saying much and now I got my answer. I always look at him for his reaction. If you get to know S.Coups a bit more, you'll see multiple situation where he is super aware of his members and even staffs. He always make sure that everyone have got time to speak especially Jun. And for us, Carats, DK is the natural comedian because he makes easy jokes here and there and you figured it out and it's really fantastic. Hoshi's MBTI has been introvert but he mostly act like an extrovert and it's funny how you said he is in between hahah. Thanks again, it was a nice and informative video

glad i discovered your channel, i love content like these! i hope you *heaaarr* me out... i recommend GOING SEVENTEEN. they are in their honest and real self in their own content. they all have extremely distinguishable personalities, communicating, reacting and handling situations (i always find it fascinating whenever i rewatch episodes) although those episodes are around anywhere between 20-40 minutes, they talk over eachother a lot and throw in a few inside jokes.

I recommend you should watch Going Seventeen Debate Night or Don't Lie Episodes. You'll see more of how they present their selves and how they interact with each other.

6:41 yes he is very serious in general, they joke saying that he don't talk much. A professional said in the last of their videos that he wanted to ask why he chooses this job and Seungkwan jokes saying the he has to because he is handsome

fun fact Vernon is half white half Korean if you haven't noticed his mom is American and his dad is a Korean they met in an art school in New York and moved to Korea when Vernon was about 6 or 5 and I think his dad is an English teacher now

About Seungkwan, everyone says that he is a variety show king, because he is like a comedian, he always does very well on shows in korea

Dude, I'm impressed! You described each one of them strongly on point. You even memorize their names correctly after only 2 videos. I've never seen such quick memory span before. Not gonna lie, your descriptions sounds like a decade old SEVENTEEN fan's theory. Can you do more analysis for SEVENTEEN? No, you must actually.

I honestly think the key to Seventeen's success as a group and them being able to work so well together and stay together for this long is their ability to communicate with each other. You'll see louder/more outspoken members like Seungkwan, Hoshi, and Dk be the ones to hype up the room and drive the conversation, but they are also the members who would quiet everyone down, shift the focus towards the quieter members like Wonwoo, Vernon, or The8 and ask them their thoughts, making sure they get a chance to say what they want. In general, all the guys seem to be very observant of their surroundings and each other. There's 13 of them, that's 13 voices, 13 personalities, 13 opinions/preferences but somehow, they've figured out their own system to work together as a group to make sure everyone gets heard and no one gets left out.

This is pretty interesting to learn about! I've seen a lot of comments recommending their variety show: Going Seventeen and I'd like to see what you have to say for their 'Don't Lie' episodes. It's a game where they're acting, interacting and discussing a lot so it might be interesting!

you were right about the type of leader scoups is. i always think about when they were on knowing brothers the hosts had to guess the leader. heechul clocked it being scoups bc even tho he wasn't leading the conversations he was watching over the members. he's his family's maknae so it shows in how affectionate he can be with them all. he also makes sure to attend any meetings the members have with the company to watch out for them. another thing you were definitely right about is seungkwan being the mood maker lol. since debut during interviews he'd usually be the one to make sure the quieter members got a chance to speak. it'd be cool if you'd watch booseoksoon content bc the dynamic switches and its hoshi and dk leading while seungkwan takes the back seat

i recommend you react to some of their "going seventeen" episodes, like i would say ep5 or 31 for example where you can really see more of their personalities outside of interviews! thank you for reacting to them, its so fun!

i watched your previous reaction to svt yesterday and i loved it. english isn't my first language, but you're very easy to understand, and what you said now about vernon's pronunciation shocked me because that's what i was thinking about you lol. i was hoping for more to come so i suscribed, and i got excited today seeing the notification! thank you for reacting to them, they're all very lovely and very different, as expected with 13 men. you pronounced everyone's name great and i'm surprised you remembered them, it took me way longer than one video to do that lol. looking foward to see you react to more of them!

A fan made a video about the members taking care of the "quieter" ones. You should watch it. It shows a lot of the dynamics you're saying about Hoshi.

I'm so happy you're reacting to Seventeen. They are a lovely group of chaotic people. I think it would be interesting for you to watch some of their show Going Seventeen (kind of like their version of Run BTS). They're so entertaining and funny. Their Insomnia Zero and Logic Night series are really fun and they talk lot there, so you can see how they express themselves. Thank you for taking a look at Seventeen!

The comment about Hoshi not being the loudest is so funny to me because he is the loudest.🤣You're so right about the great social skills though and that's probably why he's not loud here, it wouldn't be appropriate for an interview and he knows that, but watch any going seventeen episode and your mind will be very quickly changed.
@phoebedoherty-ozobiane33552 жыл бұрын
Some of your observations are so accurate haha. It would be so interesting to see you react to and analyse some of their personal contents (not interviews). they have their own variety show called Going Seventeen and some of those videos really show their different personalities much more. I'd probably recommend some of the TTT videos (especially the hyperrealism one) or the debate night videos. You get to see them in a really comfortable chill environment in TTT, and their silly debates in Debate Night show who the more confident speakers are.

you should react to one of the going seventeen, maybe one of the "ttt", where they are more free to speak with no direct questions, where you can see well all their personalities

Thank you for reacting to seventeen again! My favourite interview with them that has great questions and slightly less chaos is their interview with India Now with the interviewer Sakshma Srivastav, she is also a fan of the group and it's definite the least awkward English interview I've seen from them and it has some really nice interactive moments between the members too! I really hope you can check it out! Also lots of people are suggesting Going Seventeen and yes it is great and shows all sides of the group its very very chaotic for someone who is still learning names and faces - let alone a communication coach
