Dk is the main vocalist! honestly, seventeen's songs are very good, but Dk always manages to make them even more stunning with his adlibs. So much so that I always prefer the live version because he manages to shine so brightly with his improvisations and harmonizations. Dokyeom is one of the best in all of Kpop, his ability to sing in different genres surprises me! especially the fact that he always sings smiling lol So if you don't know Dokyeom and are watching this video, I recommend getting to know him a little more by watching svt shows. And to top it off, he is an excellent musical actor too!

In an era where heavy backing vocals are common, his live singing, harmonies, and ad-libs allow the audience to engage more deeply in the performance, which is exactly what a main vocalist needs. DK never. stops. singing If you watch their variety show, he is *always always always* singing. There's a great episode where one of the members has a secret mission to stop him from singing and another has a secret mission to get him to sing. Neither of them has to do anything - the second the missions start, he sings all on his own :D He's a really astounding singer, such breadth of technique. And a sweet guy, too, who really enjoys using his instrument.

dk's vocals are very under appreciated. it's such a beautiful and versatile voice that it makes you want to hear him sing every song ever, i always wonder how he'd sing other songs that i like or how he'd sing in different languages. 9:31 when you said this i could totally relate 😭 he's a super humble and nice guy so many people like to downplay his capabilities and talent as a singer saying "he's not that great" or "xyz is better" therefore it's always nice to hear dokyeom's vocal praises. and even if dk mostly sings becuz he loves singing we still needs that album!!! someone convince him to release one, enough of song covers (not really) and group songs his voice needs his own songs ifykwim 😮‍💨

I saw my ultimate of K-pop ultimates and clicked... it's Lee Seokmin(DK) time lol His voice really does symbolizes his personality, it's hard to explain lol but even the fact that he smiles when he sings just makes it better and you can tell that he(and SVT in general) genuinely love what he does. DK LOVES TO SING, he loves his members/fans and the love that we share amongst one another. He really did prove those who doubted him wrong and I'm so proud of, not only the strong vocalist he's become(even though I considered him one back then), but the man he's grown to be today🥰🎶
