I'm from Indonesia, and I've traveled to several countries in the world and eat a lot of food, but I have to say I feel like Indonesian food taste the best and I agreed so much when they say Indonesian food have "easy" taste for foreigners to eat. I don't know if I'm objectively speaking, or it's just because I'm Indonesian tho... but seriously, there are a lot of delicious food from other countries, but in overall, I still love Indonesian food the most 😂

As an Indonesian, I can personally comment that the portions for what they pay, is too expensive. Of course, I'm weighing it from other Indonesian's perspectives who has to earn money in Indonesia. However, I think it's starting to become a normal pricing now since prices inflate in our country. Edit: Hi, I haven’t been to Indonesia in four years, since I am currently living in the US, but I considered it expensive because I was comparing it to the time I visit back in 2016. I honestly also didn’t know they went to 5 star restaurants as at the time I commented this, I have only watching this one clip. I would say, I guess the price is reasonable if we are comparing it to street foods, but I guess as an Indonesian myself, I wouldn’t pay that much to eat nasi goreng, sate ayam, etc.

As Malaysian, I felt Indonesia inflation have risen more than 200% for last 6 years. From your local news channel, I found sometime Indonesia grocery expenses cost exactly same or way more expensive than West Malaysia. Edit: I hope there’s no Indonesian misunderstood my comment. Well I believe the cost for foods still reasonable depend on menu.

I think we have to consider the places. The place looked fancy, no wonder the price were quiet pricey than average places/ street foods. But, if you would like to try authentic indonesian foods for each regions, I suggest you to try their street foods rather than a fancy restaurants 😁 I bet this suggestion also work on other countries, if we want to try their authentic foods.

For those of you wondering abt the beer price, that's Bir Bintang, Indonesia's signature beer. 8 Dollar is resto price. In smaller kiosk you still buy it for 3 Dollars a bottle. And in some areas, beer and pork are widely eaten, like Flores (where you see komodo dragons). There is no restriction in drinking alchohol in Indonesia, except in Aceh.

Dear battle trip audiences, if you come to Yogyakarta (or you can say Jogja for the simple) you can find many delicious foods. Ayam Geprek is one of the best. Mangut Lele is delicious also but the place is quite hard to find. You should try Gudeg too as the most iconic food from Jogja. Have a nice trip!

Masakan indonesia emang bener enak2,rasanya sangat familiar dilidah tp lebih enak,makanya orang2 asing pada langsung cocok dan suka dg masakan indonesia,yg di youtube itu bukan settingan,tp beneran mereka merasakan enaknya masakan indonesia,aq bilang begini krna ada tetangga ku yg nikah dg orng korea,dan aq kalo makan diluar sama dia,dia lahap bngt makannya,katanya enak.
