I love the way Woozi talks about his creation process he is just so talented 🥰 I really love them all and it's so true they are a family, they didn't get to choose each other, but they stayed together and helped each other out through thick and thin. zach’s interviews are always so good and literally contain some of the best questions. It’s always wonderful to see my boys talking about their music, which they are so perfectly passionate about. thank you for treating them well. and non-fans, if you’re interested I’ll suggest you listen to their album Face the Sun it’s quite diverse and they have explored many different genres in it. If you listen to it without prejudice, you’ll know how great of an artist these guys are. and please don’t be intimidated by the 13 members! they all go so well together. once you get to know them, you’ll adore them all and wouldn’t imagine the group without even one of them.

you can tell the interview questions were good because after zach would ask a question the members would go "mmm~" and they don't usually do that for western interviews. especially the questions woozi answered, that was super interesting to hear because he really went into detail about the process. i've seen all of their interviews up to this point and this was definitely one of the more thoughtful ones. as a carat I really appreciate the careful questions that were prepared ❤

I stan seventeen. But this interview kinda looked awkward. I think Vernon is one of the silent members and Joshua is learning to be articulate more. All the good talkers are Korean speakers. But still there is always a first step to improve. They might improve more while they do more global shows in future. Anyways face the sun is a bop.

In English interviews Vernon and Joshua always answer a majority of the questions. I'm not sure why. I was actually surprised by how much Mingyu talked in the last half. But it does make the interviews awkward because 2 guys are talking and 11 silently watching.

Maybe it's a joint decision that because other members tend to take the lead in Korean interviews, Western interviews can be mostly Joshua/Vernon's thing. But there were some questions where I'd have liked to hear other members input.

Really appreciate you inviting Seventeen to the show and you’re literally one of my most favorite interviewers out there because of how you accommodate your guests (personal favs are your interviews with BTS). But from a Carat’s POV who knows the boys well, Seventeen being a 13-member group, it might be best to address and ask each member one-by-one next time to make them all feel included in the conversation. They’re all very smart, witty, insightful, masters of self-emceeing, and have lots of good things to say - it’s a pity they looked like they were holding themselves back here.. I do think this interview had so many interesting questions, but definitely could have been done a little better in terms of format. Your platform is huge and it’ll be a waste not to share this fact about the boys to the global mainstream media. Thank you. 🙏🏼
