@@Arkv-o1n their manager used to verbally abuse them, over work them and not pay them enough, the 5 people on this band were all teenagers back then, and they suffered a lot. So around 2020 or 2021-ish after they had released an album, they finally decided to stand up against their manager. They got into a legal fight and all of them just recently won the case. Meaning they are now finally free of the band contract and can release solo music. The sad part is that the managers still have the right of the band name 'Why Don't We', so they can't release music as a band, but the good part is that these guys are free from the abusive environment they were in. They are happy now and some of them have already released some of their solo stuff

But I think they are focused on their solo stuff for mow, I remember one of them saying that they have been used to sharing the spotlight so they are enjoying doing their solo stuff. I will obviously support them no matter what but I personally kinda wish they would do music together😅, the direction their music was going in was very much my style. I loved it.
