Hawaii, as its name suggests, is a warm and pleasant paradise on the Pacific Ocean. But late at night on February 2, the island was hit by unprecedented storms.
That night, the sun slowly set over the west coast, but the clouds in the sky took on an unusually deep red color. This rare sight is often seen as a sign of an impending storm. The islanders couldn't help but frown and watched the changes in the sky nervously.

"People should prepare for power outages," weather officials warned, indicating the storm will cause severe damage to the area.
