@ the solution is obvious. Eliminate plastics, reduce energy and overall consumption, stop over fishing, place the needs of the environment over the wants of people, etc.. but that requires us to do things like practice discipline, selflessness, restraint, give up convenience and resist greed.. things that humans aren’t capable of doing and is unrealistic.

@@davidslayton1360 that coupled with the socio-economic condition of the demographic here make the situation a not so straightforward one to tackle. please share if you have any practical steps in mind, apart from the raising awareness and reducing plastics and consumerism. Behavioural changes like those are so hard to materialise. it feels to me that most of the efforts in this direction meet deaf ears. but we need to keep trying to do that in effective and innovative ways. that's the only way. just doing it in traditional ways isn't helping.

Stubble burning is a Ransomeware attack. Farmers are anyways coming to Delhi soon to collect the ransom. All Dilliwallas can go back to bullock carts. Stop all businesses. Stop smoking even....lol ... Yearly drama. Either have the courage to confront the Punjabi farmers on the issue or accept that this is just stubble smoke , not cancerous and stop wining very year.
