1511 is the # of Pres 45 cryptic storm speech it's a secret. My area had Gusts all afternoon to 45mph nonthunderstorm in Oklahoma winds with the cold front tonight is 40+mph sustained gusting up to 60-70mph no thunderstorms. I'm fixing to have a Windstorm that may tear up tonight. Enjoyed this Squall line you have here. Looked like frequently gusting to 55mph stronger than 40mph to say least.
@jj2.047 Жыл бұрын
I had a wind advisory that lasted 25 hours with gusts 40-55 mph, but I have an amemometer, and when I went outside to read them my max gust was 26 mph, 26 mph gusts are stronger than most people think
@leaf2180 Жыл бұрын
@JJ 2.0 anemometers aren't super accurate unless they're in a high place or a flat area with no hills/trees around. I had one several years ago. A storm came through and downed several trees and took our power out for 4 days. The max gust on my anemometer was 16mph 😂 they need to be set up on a pole up high or out in a field.

I do enjoy severe thunderstorms as long as it’s not too damaging but I do enjoy thunderstorms especially doing the late afternoon early evening like usually like around dinner time where the clouds are really dark in the temperature drops and it gets really windy where the action starts it reminds me of my childhood and I especially like thunderstorms on nice days where I have the windows of my house open to let the fresh air in I do sleep pretty good with that at night especially

I wish I got storms like these often but they only happen once every year it seems where I live
@leaf21803 жыл бұрын
We don't usually get them that often. We've had 3 damaging storms so far this year. One on April 30th, then again on June 21st, then this one on July 16th. We did have one last year.. i believe it was on June 3rd or 4th. But before that, our last damaging storm was July 7th, 2017, it was also a squall line.

@@leaf2180 I gotta question, since google and KZbin vids won’t answer my question. Do hurricanes have microburst?
@leaf21803 жыл бұрын
@@KoId. outer bands of hurricanes can generate microbursts due to sudden decrease in temperature, as well as tornadoes which is caused by outer bands usually having a frequent rotation. Near the center is just tropical wind and rain.
@leaf21803 жыл бұрын
And sorry for the late response. KZbin has not be notifying me of messages for some reason.

@@cuwterthanu8087 i have 3 white spire birches. And 1 river birch. A river birch is probably best. They're very flexible and have a longer lifespan. I just got more white spire birches because they're a bit nicer to look at. Prettier, smoother bark and glossy leaves.
