Cool and spectacular video! There is nothing than I like better than a nice summer thundershower! When I lived in Central Florida from 1969 to 1971, we had these almost on a daily basis during the spring and mainly summer months. I loved them dearly even though I was only a kid in elementary school!

May I ask what were the weather conditions preceding this thunderstorm, was it excessively hot?

Not really, it was about atleast in the high 70s. There was some high dew points that was around with alot of moister and instability around.
