I've had hail here in Quebec City (during two separate thunderstorms) and it was pretty bad, but from what I've seen on radar it looked pretty bad over there. I'm glad to see footage from what I've saw on radar!

Yes, I saw your amazing footage of the event, so thank you for sharing! The hail there was quite spectacular! I observed some briefly during this thunderstorm here (heard/seen by 20:57 into the video), but what you observed was more enduring!

Wow! Nice structure on the approaching storm. Love mammatus on the back-sheared anvil and big flanking-line towers. It looks like it had some broad rotation. There's been a few good fall squall lines here in Michigan too. Decent lightning producer here on the Nov 10th.

Are thunderstorms with hailstones and strong gusts still usual in Montreal in mid-autumn?

Montreal Canada? Must of been Delta combining with the front causing showers.

Yes, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. And yes, because of the strong SW flow within the warm sector of this area of low pressure, and given the relatively close proximity to what is now Tropical Storm Delta, some moisture was channeled from that tropical system towards the NE. This, therefore, aided to boost humidity levels to moderate levels and played a role in allowing convection to become more distinctly surface-based over time. Thank you for your viewing and comment!

@@Rain1290 Neat I live in the place where Jerk and cheif (Donald Trump) is presidant and the country looks like a dump, with destroyed homes unclean land destroyed fences. And somewhat healthy trees. That is what the "Great American Country" Looks like on Back roads when you go around the Country. Not to great. Wish I was up there right about now.
