You are so lucky to be where you live. I'm in the UK! Don't get me wrong it's a stunning place! The UK is but the problem is no matter where you go you are pretty much always going to see someone else it drives me crazy all the land is owned or under government control so we can't even slip off to the countryside and just make a house and be left alone. We have to sneak camp over here unless you pay for a campsite and that's plops 😅. The UK is just too bloody small lol. I used to live in Everett Washington the ever green state lived right next to mout Vernon 😊 for 18 years my mum is from there my dad is from Scotland 😊

That would pretty much ruin the outdoor experience for me .out in the western us you can pretty much camp where ever want . Blissed

🙂 The UK isn't too small. It is, as you rightly say, greedy landowners and the government. Our so called king is as bad with his estates 🤷. I just play ignorant and be as stealthy as possible 🙂👍

I'm from western Washington as well and we have some of the most beautiful nature in the US. The only rainforest on the mainland. An active volcano, some of the most incredible lakes and hikes. The Puget sound fjords and the oceanside to the south, and of course the rolling desert-like hills on the eastern side of the state. I love living here

You can pretty much wild camp anywhere in scottland, plenty of places on dartmoor you can also camp as a recent ruling was overturned, but there's a map you can download that shows where you can and can't camp there, plus theres the lake and peak districts, although I'm not sure on the rules there

Who is better to direct a Nature ASMR video than someone who really feels the joy of the outdoors? I enjoy all your videos, but this video gave me much needed relaxation from the hustle and bustle of the holidays! Thank you!

I also heard through the grapevine and I’ll just leave it at that. That one of the reasons that the sound of rain is so appealing to humans is that many many many many eons ago the pray and predator relationship was understood, and that’s the only time when predators were not actively looking for their prey, if you believe in that sort of thing

Happy New Year to you and the rest of the family. Weather has been strange here in the east part of Washington State. Hasn't been very cold and only a few snow events. Supposed to get colder next week with possible snow.

Luke if you’re reading this, could you give us a lesson on your knots for the tarps? Maybe others would like to see that too. I know you review gear, but we need to know this.

Hey Luke I am curious about why you set tent away from tarp.Do you do it that way in case one of them get destroyed you still have shelter?

Luke, I don’t know about your other viewers, but for myself, I get the idea in the concept of a quiet adventure, but I think it’s also needed to do some of those adventures may be a balance of when you don’t talk, and when you do talk, so that people will know and understand why you choose the spot you do why do you use the gear that you useand whether it works out as intended that’s the whole purpose and idea of you like me watching I love and enjoy your videos that you put out even with Susie and the family. It’s great but I guess I just like it when you’re talking that’s all.

Luke, I don’t much about camping. I’m too old and broken to go. But I’m curious as to why you don’t set up your tent under the tarp so you can enter and exit out of the weather. Sorry, but it’s been driving me crazy 😅

I'd be glad to trade spots for a week. I live a mile from the beach on the Emerald Coast of NW Florida, which is absolutely beautiful with it's sugar white sand, but I do miss camping out in the woods.
