Great review. What is the difference between the foil glide 8 and the HGO 8? Besides the fact that one is fully cambered race foil; what about bottom end and handling high wind?

We won't get the 8m foil glide until mid april. But the foil glides are more geared to low end to get you foiling with less effort than the HGO 8m. High wind control on the 8m HGO is better, stiffer mast and more structure, battens and cambers.

Really enjoyed your review! Do you think the 5.0 would work on a 400 mast as I dont really want to buy a 430 just for the one sail?

Yes, a 400 rdm mast should work. It would be a little softer on a 400 than a 430 but I would think that a 5.0 would feel like the 6m on the 430 or the 7.0 on the 460. When you use the shorter mast and a longer ext the sail gets a little softer. Which is fine when you are using the sail in lighter conditions for the sail.
