This scene looks hilarious without the special effects LOL

That's the most matter-of-fact, emotionless "ouch" I've heard! And to top it off, it's a delayed reaction too! Gotta love Alan Rickman xD

Seeing them doing the scene without special effects is just too cool. I respect them a lot more than I already do. I've tried acting before. IT'S NOT THAT EASY. Even more so because of the green screen and the silence. XD

I love it when Alan hits the camera, goes "ouch" then Maggie Smith is just like "Sooo do we keep filming?" And... How is it possible that Harry never needs to wear his robes in school?!

I love it how everyone in the room gasps when Snape pulls out his wand. It goes to show you how much the students are frightened of him. He's an incredibly powerful wizard. I'd gasp to, but not out of fear mind you, but out of love. If I was there, I'd be yelling "Snape! Look out!!"...
@SquireOnTheFire113 жыл бұрын
I loved this scene so much. And when Harry started yelling at him, you could see the pain in Snape's face. Almost as if he wished Harry only knew the truth. Brilliantly done.

*Snape and Mcgonagall duel fiercely.* *Mcgonagall advances with a fire that Snape could never even imagined.* *Out of nowhere the camera knocks Snapes wand out of his hand, revealing its bias against him.* *Snape says ouch, after a dramatic but delayed pause and then looks to the camera sternly.* "10 points from Gryffindor."

Snape was the best. I cried when he died in the movie, and cried when he died in real life. Alan Rickman. Fantastic actor, and played so many wonderful roles. Just like Maggie Smith. This generation just knows Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, but she was in so many fantastic movies, and plays. Brilliant actress. RIP Professors.

@honeygirl931 (continued)...as his last wish (look at me) and his last memories can testify. You may argue that he want to look at Lily's eyes when he die and the memories were given so Harry can complete his task and bring down Voldemort...but I say that he wants to look at Harry's eyes because he loved Lily and and recognized Harry as Lily's son at last. He also seems to forgive Harry because he gave those memories to Harry meaning he recognizes his own faults. And this is based on books :)

@honeygirl931 I would argue that the things Snape faced in his childhood (unhappy family, being bullied, lonely, etc etc) has left a wound in his heart that was "too deep for the healing" (Dumbledore said this in the books). It is pretty understandable he never forgot or let go of those painful memories. You just can't. You can't help but feel inferior and angry and indignant about it. Any bullying victim can tell you that. And on top of that I would say that he got past it at the end...

@mw2akimbomaster Yes, I've seen it twice because it was that good haha. Snape was also trying to protect Harry because of his love for Lily even though Harry was just a reminder to him of Lily's preference for another man, a man who he despised. I feel sorry for him :'(

That start was a... surprise. I first thought that the blooper was part of the scene, but then Alan started to apologize (?) (couldn't quite catch what he said) and the crew started to laugh. I couldn't stop my laugh when Alan and Maggie were waving and moving their arms and then suddenly COWARD!: it seemed very funny to watch it without the special effects and the context. A lot of people flock to acting because they think it's all this fun and games (well, yes I guess it is) but I think they forget that you're really just waving a wand around and making sure you have the right expression on your face.
