The gun is fast for everyone, not just Noah. So if it's a disadvantage for him, it was for everyone else, which means there was no advantage for anyone. That said, you clearly didn't watch the video at all, because they did acknowledge that there is merit to what Lyles said about the start and acknowledged that his reaction time was slower than usual even by his standards. You say 9.85 is no small feat, yet 9.82 PB and a world lead as a season opener over 100m for Seville is not a masterclass?

Coleman, Benderik, kerley, brommel and some young newbies from the usa collegiate system. No one is safe anything can happen.. USA and Jamaica trials are the hardest in the world. Anyone of these guys can beat lyles, and if they are all in the race anything can happen. He can also beat them as well but the point is nothing is certain.
