You know, this game can actually fit well in the last stand trilogy, where a lone soldier or pilot that crashed along with the survivor or main character but went separate ways thinking they are the only ones that survived.

To be honest it that can work. If you think about it the main character from The Last Stand (his name is Jack btw) might have woken up alot earlier than the other guy and fled to a near-by town, while the guy you play as in this game woke up just in time to see the horde consume the bodies of his/her companions. Also they may have woken up on diffrent sides of the crash site, in the cut-scene in The Last Stand 2, Jack wakes up in the right side of the crash (from what I remember) likely facing a town, while this guy woke up on the left facing the forests, fields and the tower in the distance. tl;dr This theory might be possible

Taking out the initial 10 seconds, he took 610 seconds to reach 13832 meters. Now, lets see his running speed. V=D(istance)/T(ime) V = 13832 / 610. V = 22.675 m/s or 81.63 km/h. Which, translated to Imperial units means 50.72 mph. Usain Bolt’s top speed in his 100 m sprint world record was 44.72 km/h or 27.78 mph. Guys. I have a theory for this game. I think the MC or your character actually died in the crash.. And in his last moments, he saw a horde infront of him, making his brain think he's running away but in reality, he's slowly dying and the only thing he could do is run away, die and run again, as if it was his purgatory and he is stuck in it as he slowly and painfully dies from his wounds in the crash he took part in. This also explains his infinite stamina after running so far yet he still hasn't reached a city or village.. Imagine that, your last moments is just you running, dying, running, dying until your real body eventually dies.

i had theorized: -from the scene where he wakes up from the crash, it seems that they flew away from the city (suggesting it is already a deadzone), and wants to go to the tower flickering in the distance in which i theorized is a military base. -the crates found were left by the military on the way to the "military base", or just left it because they were in a hurry and extra crates were just slowing them down -the heli fell of either reasons: _theres an infected among the crew _it malfunctioned _heavy payload that makes them crash (cuz desperate to gather either civilians/rounding up remaining soldiers back to the base/getting supplies as much as possible)

Spoilers for into the dead 2! how ever I would like to make the theory that chronologically, into the dead 2 happens before into the dead 1. So, after the ending where you are saved by a helicopter (around when the credits finish rolling ) you might be able to hear a helicopter crash, which is an oddly fitting detail. After that the theme for the first game plays. Now looking at the start of the first game we saw a helicopter crashed. Now looking at the corpses littered in the crash they look like Jame's family (Into the dead 2 protagonist) From Maggie,to Helen. Now there is also a male corpse holding a gun. Into the ending of the second game, James is holding a pistol and guess what? The male corpse is holding a gun which SCREAMS a connection. I would like to make a big guess that, that is James. While it may sound weird. I would like to theorise that we play as Jame's consciousness. Which explains why the setting is so reminiscent of into the dead 2. The game is infinite because that is what our protagonist felt.I guess that all the things that James went through went down the drain. Which hopefully continues the story MAYBE in the 3rd edition of this game.

@@krypto6459 I will tell you 1 reason why it is not the same helicopter from into the dead 2 1 reason: in into the dead 1 when you see the cinematic you see that behind the crashed helicopter you see a city, therefore in into the dead 2 in the end we were picked up in the forest and most likely near some houses so both in the cinematic of into the dead 1 the city looks destroyed as if the infection was starting because you can see the smoke and fire so it is most likely that the helicopter has rescued some survivors and one of them was bitten so this is before the events of into the dead 2

@@oncetherewasamannamedlol3457I would like to thing that zombies are capable of having buffs Something like strength hence the fact that a singular zombie can overpower a male running at high speeds who is holding mini gun. Maybe eyesight is also buffed too. They can see you from thousand of metres. And the fact the area the protagonist runs through doesn't have much foliage capable of blocking the sky's somewhat proves the idea of zombies having buffed eyesight. For an area covered in darkness, a large-firey helicopter crash is noticeable especially with buffed eyesight. I assume the virus gives those buffs or maybe mutation

Lore: You ran away from zombies and still more zombies without rest with your pups, you still find zombies no matter where you go, no rest and mostly, no safehouses or any buildings. but you found a minigun, a clip with 250 bullets that is somehow pistol-weighted. it protected you for a while. and you still ran with your dogs, reaching 5-7KM, they're still everywhere, and your minigun is slowly running out of ammo, and you still find no clues of any safe buildings, you see forests that annoys you, cornfields without buildings, that blinds you and force you to pew pew, and more zombies along with them. more of these buildings appear as you go, making you use minigun more and more, eventually emptying the gun. but you still ran, despite a wall of zombies blocking you, and you having weak guns. but everything got to the worst when you travel so far, exactly 10KM, you recall what happened from how you see in the run, and eventually.... YOU FOUND OUT THAT YOU ARE THE LAST SURVIVOR ON EARTH. (at least he assumed.) everyone around you was dead, and there are lots. and even no buildings. demotivated, you still decide to run for at least the safehouse or transport vehicle. you ran, you ran and you ran. and eventually, you died. as the "wall of zombies" get more and more, you start to use minigun more and more, not even avoiding zombies. but, your minigun died in the worst spot, the cornfields, and lots of zombies were in one lane and, knowing that cornfields are death without minigun, you decide to give in, you had nowhere to run, nowhere to go.
