Thanks for this reaction. This song really hits home. I'm now in my mid-40s, battling some health issues and various challenges, like many of us. The image of a warrior struggling to remain relevant and consequential is so emotive. The arrangement and combination of guitar and bass riffs with the drums and vocals just transports me to another place and gives me the fuel to fight on.

This is the exactly the reason why I say you absolutely positively need to go catch a live show my man!!! I absolutely meant it in my other comment when I said, “you will have bragging rights that only a few will ever get to match.” You will have the blessing and privilege to see these absolute gods of music. They are walking statues bro. Like the laws of nature they just are. I don’t know how else to explain the outrageous magnitude of having that experience in your life would really mean. Just to go see them and play this music and confirm that they are who they say they are is just other worldly. Boy it’s a good time to be alive. Lol. To top it off as far as sound goes, their live shows sound practically as crisp as their studio albums so you will not miss a thing especially if you just sit back and enjoy. They are touring, I suggest you start planning accordingly bud. You will never regret it. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Just saw them 3 nights ago in Portland, OR. They played this song, and 4 others off the newest album. They also played Swamp Song and Rosetta Stoned along with a few others, plus a Danny Carey solo session that he smashed. It was awesome. They sounded excellent. Light show was mesmerizing. Unlike previous tours, they now have a small elevated stage to either side of the drums which Maynard alternated between throughout the show. 15th (?) TOOL concert for me. Always amazed. Never disappointed.
