Is there anyone that can confirm that this particular ceremony recording is performed by women and if someone can correctly identify the particular event with the date of this ceremony recording.

Non specific timing of this record. However this ceremony is strictly men only ceremony - this recording has women as chanters... probably it's unique to that side of Fiji. My first time as well to hear women performing this ceremony

Sorry for being late to reply, but this is a chant from a clan in Nacula village in the Macuata province, located in Vanua Levu, the second largest island in Fiji. This is unique in that women sing during the preparation of the sacred yaqona ceremony because it is usually the men who are tasked to sing traditional songs. And the date of the recording set on 25th May 1974.
