For some reason, I have really bad luck getting him. I had to use 74 wishes back on Kokomi's banner just to get C0! and this time, I only got c2. Don't know why he evades me lol

A little detail about the rainswords. They have 20% dmg reduction on their own, and can get up to 9% extra dmg reduction from talent lvl. This means that at max investment, Xingqiu can give up to a hole 53% dmg reduction.

I got him from c2-->c6 while pulling for zhongli, And I FINALLY at ar 56(almost 57) got my first copy of sac sword. So for me this has been the Xingque Banner lol

I got him at C6 as well when pulling on the Ganyu banner. Luckily I got a R4 sac sword on him so his energy recharge is insane. I love using him with my Xiangling and Rosaria.

I just got mine too on zhongli when following for him and had him at I think c2 then I pulled for ganyu and got c3 and randomly got another one on the weapon banner while debating on whether to get Amos or not, it was amazing because I’ve been wanting him for ages. Sadly can’t level him up yet even though I have him built with artifacts and the sac sword since I have ganyu to build and I just got my first 5 star weapon plus zhongki took all my money

I got Mona and Childe but I almost always fall back on Xingqiu when I need a hydro on any team set up. Also the water swords look so cool

To be honest out of all hydro units he is the most easiest to use. His kit is beginner friendly while being a top tier support.

For a lot of teams he is way more convenient than the 5* chars anyways. For example if you are a Hu Tao main, everyone will tell you to use Xinqiu, because he just works so much more efficient than for example Childe.

It's possible to use ganyu and Xingqiu together for freeze just normal atk before a charged atk Some other options are better tho Either way Xingqiu works with every element on the game besides geo

Crystallize Archaic Petra exists so Geo and Hydro does work. But so few known, if not NOBODY ever uses it so I guess you're ultimately right

Xingqiu is definitely one of the better 4*, bringing both good damage and heals to a party, not to mention hydro reactions galore. IMO I never swap out Sacrificial Sword as his main weapon. Substats be dammed, since it patches out his most glaring downside; his enormous cooldown times. Having it r5 gives a great 80% proc rate to spam his E, which if used properly means he basically has little downtime on his skills. Keep the guides coming please! Also, please make an Amber guide! I know she's arguably the worst character in the game, but she's cute as a button and surprisingly strong as a ST DPS, with considerable artifact investment that is. Cheers!

I think there are several situations where Sac Sword can be safely swapped out, mostly if you have C6 and/or use him in Raiden National. If you can use a Jade Cutter or even R5 Lions Roar his damage will skyrocket so high thanks to the offensive stats. For me, Lion's Roar can basically double his damage, so if you have the energy to spare it can be an amazing improvement.

I finally got him after 6 months of playing and it took me a lot of pulls to get a C0 of him (started at 51. I lost to Diluc first at 77 then got Zhongli at 32 early then 15 pulls for a C0 Xingqiu because of a lot of Yanfeis that also became C6 along all of my pulls). Now my Yoimiya and Diluc are now happy that they can finally deal constant vaporize reactions.

Damn at least you got him, I was trying to get at least one yanfei but all I kept getting was beidou and few xingqiu. I got C2 xingqiu and my beidou went from c0 to C4 while pulling for zhongli haha.

@@alphainfinityX In the long run Xingqiu and Beidou are far better units than Yanfei. If you are a new player, Yanfei can be helpful.

9:10 There is an additional bonus from Xingqiu's skill. Because both hits count independently, your chance of actually getting that effect increase drastically. Even at the lowest refinement, your chance of getting this effect isn't actually 40% with Xingqiu, but 64% already and it caps out at 96% for refinement 5. This is not to mention that hitting multiple enemies increases these chances even further. This is also why Sac Bow on Diona works so well. With the hold E, you get 5 hits, so five chances of getting the effect which means even at R1, this is already a 92% chance of activating the effect. Of course refining is still worth it to reduce the cooldown.

I have had terrible luck with 5stars but my 4stars have been insane. I started off my genshin journey by pulling bennett, xingqiu, fischl and yanfei and have been using combinations of them ever since. With this banner, my xingqiu's constellation has gotten pretty high. So glad I got to play this absolute beast of a unit

at some point i just got emotionally attached to the team i first pulled from the beginner banner--xingqiu, xiangling, and noelle. i paired them with the traveller and at some point they just stayed with me forever. noelle's my dps now although shes still not c6, geo traveller's there for resonance/battery (because i lost 50/50 for albedo) and xingqiu and xiangling have been my faithful supports, and i love them all (i also made them rooms in my serenitea pot!)

Huge tip: focus ONLY on damage(and crit rate) because running a sacrificial sword can solve all ur energy recharge problems, if u have Bennett, that burst will basically be very close to always up and ready

Xingqiu was the first character I crowned because I just really loved his playstyle and character. I only recently got him to c4 but sadly I don't have the primos to get him to c6 and I still need to save up for a lot of 5*s, one day maybe. Now I've been suffering for a month trying to get him a decent 4pc EoS (along with Xiangling, Beidou and Mona) but all my good pieces are shimenawa pieces.

Well you can always use some 2 piece sets while you wait Like 2 piece shime 2 piece noblesse while you wait for better emblem pieces Just give em er sands and maybe weapon if u wanna be comfy

Xingqiu with lion's roar and raiden is really good. I can got away with 137% ER and he was not c6 yet. I guess with c6, only 135% ER needed. It means we can use atk% sand instead of ER. I uploaded a video about it a couple months ago if anyone interested

At AR57, I DIDN'T HAVE HIM BEFORE THIS BANNER! As a Hu Tao main, that hurt me and actually made me drop her for abyss for a few runs. I got his C3 as well as Zhongli this banner and now my Hu Tao experience was improved tenfold. I can definitely recommend him after trying jim out. Thanks a bunch for the guide!

Best 4 Star supports in My opinion (Bennett, xinqui, xianling, sacrouse, and fischl). Best 5 Star supports in My opinion ( Kazuha, Mona, Shogun Raiden and Zhongli).

Generally for 2/2 setup considerations, can definitely consider using 'rainbow' sets for better substat quality, having great crit stats is usually more important than having proper set bonuses in a lot of cases (exceptions being 4p effects like Noblesse Oblige, Tenacity of the Millelith, Ocean-Hued Clam, Viridescent Venerer, etc)

I actually use the jade sword on him and he does about 7k dmg per sword so at C6 he does about 28k dmg per second. So good.

I was actually using Harbinger of Dawn on Xingqiu until I recently got my R1 Sac Sword, for the high crit rate buff since he rarely gets hurt being off-field. Just in time for Rifthounds I guess.

Finally got C6 Xingqiu! A more interesting thing about this is that the ICD for reactions is either a couple seconds or 3 reactions. Each of Xingqiu's 5 final rain swords counts towards that, so I believe you can vape twice off that single hit. Him being the fastest hydro applier in game and the fact that he does it off-field make him as invaluable as Bennett!

He and Bennett were my first ever characters from Genshin Impact. I got them both from a single 10 pulls from Novice Wish. I never knew how good both of them were until someone from co-op told me that both of them are meta supports. Now I'm waiting for a good main DPS to fully utilize their support capabilities (currently I only have Xiao as my main DPS)

My main team consists of Keqing, Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Fischl. It's not perfect since there isn't a dedicated shield or healer. But with the way they layer constant elemental reactions onto each other has made this the best team for me by far

You should mention that Sacrificial sword is extra good with Xingqiu because he offers TWO chances to proc it, since his E hits twice. Both hits have an 80% change to hit, so the chance of getting the refresh on an R5 sacrificial sword is 96%, not 80%. At R1, its a 54% change to refresh, not 40. R4+ sacrificial sword is amazing because the cooldown comes down to be shorter than Xingqiu's burst cooldown, meaning you'll always get a chance at getting the refresh again, at a 91% chance.

I run him in pretty much any team I can. He's such a great unit. Currently I have him on my Sucrose taser team where him, Beido, and Kujou Sara (used to have fischl but trying to break away and try out other units) just annihilate everything with Sucrose being the main on that team. Even the hydro and electro lectors go down fairly fast. Energy isnt an issue on that team either with both him and Sucrose having Sac weapons so energy out the wazoo. Plus its just really fun to pull everything in and zap zap away!

I'm super excited that I have Xingqiu now. My main DPS are Hu Tao and Raiden (and also Ganyu now, though idk if he'll be good for her at all. Doesn't feel like it). I haven't had a chance to farm up Xingqiu much because I've been working on maxing out Ganyu's level and abilities, and also I was dumb and forgot to max Hu Tao's normal attacks. But after I get them settled I'll def take a bit of time to raise up Xingqiu too :). He's gonna be so useful!

Im a newbie and ii got xingqui and he is pretty damn good , i use his e the freeze with kaeya then keep hitting then switch to lisa after the freeze ends . As for the build i got him 2 instructor, 2 exile and a piece that gives hydro damage and its working nicely

As a proud hydro main I play my Xingqiu with a Jade Cutter and full set emblem. I am not sure what is considered a lot of dmg on him, but I got his rain sword (in his burst i mean; only one, cuz i think only one reaction could take place) to hit vaporise for 23k and it was the most satysfying thing I've seen in a long time. (not a showcase, more of an accident, but his usual dmg would be around 13k per rain sword
