Beautiful basket thank you for this Tutorial! What is your Seam allowance? Update: I made it and out basket turned out beautiful, lining is disappointing, very puckery...I guessed at seam allowance, I guessed wrong.

I don't have a seam allowance for sewing. Cut and sew as specified in the video clip. Most of the time, if you want the lining to fit snugly, you should cut the height about half an inch lower than the outside.

Help, I'm stumped! Making the lining. Used all measurements as posted on video but after I cut the 4 1/2 X 4 1/8 square on the large piece of lining and then place the 9 3/4 X 12 3/4 after folding and stitching, it doesn't fit as in the video. I align it to the bottom of the large squared off piece but the top of it doesn't lay beyond the edge of the squared off piece, it sits lower under edge about 1/4 inch. I need to finish this in 2 days for a gift. What went wrong, or are the measurements for the lining wrong? Can I get an answer before I ruin it?

I think it's because you cut the size of the divider in the middle of the basket wrong. - The size of the spacer fabric in the middle of this basket is 9 1/4" x 12 3/4", not 9 3/4" x 12 3/4" as you mentioned. and sew in the seam and The seam line as indicated in the clip too. I'm sorry for replying you late. Because I have to open this clip to review the mistake as you asked. I hope I can answer your questions. Have fun sewing!
