You say you're a lazy quilter, you just use quick methods, and make a lot of quilts. That's not lazy at all. Listen to Jimmy Barnes with Joe Bonnamassa, doing Lazy, Sometime. You said you never know what to do with fqs. I watched Lea Louise talk about what she does at inspired quilting, she has free patterns, she cuts 5" off the side, for four squares or 2 jr half strips then takes off 10" folds it together and leaves it big like that to make a variety of pre-cuts to suit her next ideas. She can get a variety of cuts from the strips, but doesn't need to start with fqs again. You can get more than one project from a bundle. A red and white diagnal stripe would be a cute binding.

So weird you mentioned about the cat food. I just recently purchased a new bag of Purina urinary brand and mine would not eat it. Finally had to buy another version of Purina. First this has ever happened. I swear they changed it up somehow

Ya somehow our cats just know. It's weird that it's the same food too. I think they are just picky sometimes. Whatever it is that is different about each batch Thumper knows.
