Great idea, but I have a few questions. Since not all edges of the triangle aren’t sewed down, does the collar get caught up in them? Does the unseen edges also fray over time?

Hello i really loved the tutorial. Im starting to learn sewing. My question is, Is it necessary to use the medium weight if im using cotton fabric? Or could I just make without it? Thank you for this beautiful tutorial

its not necessary to use interfacing, if your want the scarf to lay on your pup in a way that you will be able to see it, it wont roll up or bunch up i recommend using interfacing. i notice that when people put scarves on their pups with no interfacing after a while your cant tell they are wearing a scarf as it rolls up and gets dirty so this is just what i would do to avoid that. also if you dont have interfacing you could use a thick fabric on the back of your cotton fabric to add strength to the cotton. so if you cant get your hands on the interfacing that is an option as well.
