I appreciate the work and efforts, There are some points which I wanted to include from my experiences: 1. Treated Water from sewage treatment plant can not used for drinking as per CPHEEO guidelines Manual. 2. BOD is Biochemical oxygen demand not biological oxygen demand. that is oxygen required by microorganism for bio decomposition of organic load of your waste water. 3. The process shown here is ASP(Activated sludge process) but there is no provision of recycling 1% consistency activated sludge back to primary and aeration chamber, if microorganism is not recycling then after some time initial growth of microorganism will decay and your aeration chamber will be worst. 4. There is no provision of sludge treatment , in ASP sludge from PST and SST is collected in sludge collecting chamber followed by sludge dying bed. 5. Aeration chamber is open chamber if you will closed it then you have to provide mechanical aeration while if it is open then by including surface aerator there will be natural aeration. 6. for disinfection, you should add pre-chlorination before PST and post chlorination after After SST.

stairs are given for gravity purpose.....bcoz in model u have to control the flow rate .....JST as grit chamber there the particle with big size are settle down....but in the next process if u don't control flow rate thn small particles will move with that rate...so for this...the stairs is given in model...

I have a question here , As you were explaining there is also waste generated here in form or large particles, fine particles and more scum etc .. how will you dispose it ? The reason I have asked it because in our country India most of the sewage systems are connected to river tributaries or lakes where these settle down damaging the Eco-system around it.

The purpose of the 'seewage treatment' or 'Wastewater treatment' is to treat the domestic and industrial waste water so as to lower the Bod to 3mg/l and suspended solids to 2mg/l,so that it can be released into the river so as to maintain the aquatic life system.What you have shown is a combination of both wastewater and water treatment.

You can easily understand that what is scum? Scum- always form in anaerobic sludge which is settled down in PST. Anaerobic sludge will produce methane gasses & hydrosulfite gas after some days/ hrs. After some days/hrs. some digested sludge molecules will lifted from bottom to top of PST water surface by the gasses. The specific gravity of molecules of sludge is lower than water specific gravity due to this reason the digested sludge always floating in water with foaming it's is called scum.
