Interesting concept

Um do you think that many and i mean many horror games try to hard to be scary instead of just trying to be fun and remembered like in sound mind alisa or frostbite deadly climate those games are fun and memorable but 90% of horror games i have seen or played have that exact same problem try to hard to be scary instead of just being okay with just presenting the horror themes and elements throughout the games because i can tell you i have seen so many walking simulators horror game that are or have tried to be scary but are forgettable boring and just waste.
