In 2019 I was recommended a strange video with an anime girl in the thumbnail. When I clicked it I was greeted with a Japanese women telling a story about Band-Aids. Didn't think much of it at the time. A little later I was recommended a video by a small artist, Sewerslvt, It only had a few thousand views, but I thought the sound they had made was so cool I sent it to my friends. In fact, I just check the date I shared it, 12/31/19. By this time I was watching Pekora clips and random shenanigans that they were getting into in minecraft. Vtubers remained peripheral for me for quite a while, but I checked in for the english branch streamers. It's odd, out of all the girls that debuted then, Ame was the one I watched the least. But for some reason, she it the only one I ever had a dream about. I rarely dream, or at least rarely remember my dreams. Sewerslvt and Hololive are kind of intertwined for me, and I had no idea about her graduating. Sad to see her leaving, but much like Jvnko, I think Ame will rise from the ashes of the old persona.
