I also think that the best option is 5, to be indepenend freelancer as it also make you feel enterpreneur and I think it is more enriching and empowering experience, but I think before this it is good to gain experience with print studios to learn and gain experience. So glad you’re back making videos! I was actually so close to getting my dream textile designing job…I was four interviews in and was interviewing for a month long. I'm curious whether textile designers ever design woven color patterns or jacquards or what have you. Is it really only prints?

You can totally design those too!! Print is most common but any textile of course 🥰

I’m a textile designer and I’ve designed embellishment layouts for beading, embroidery and sequins, jacquards as well as prints. It’s such a fun job but it is very competitive.
