I really appreciate Andrew in this being THE most supportive of everyone around to praise and encourage Ryland. I mean this was his first time taking on sewing and it was a huge project too and he did AMAZING for his first time! I hope he actually keeps this up because knowing how to sew is a good thing and all those tricks he learned about fitting he can apply to any outfit he buys (also fixing holes and stuff, very useful skill overall). Kinda wish Morgan and Shane picked up on that a bit sooner and weren't so quick to just mock and tease him. I get that's their shtick within their friend group but sometimes it comes off too strong.

Rachel Felix Yes they were hard on him. And it didn’t look bad from far away. And the fact he put in a zipper on the shirt is impressive. Zippers are really difficult to put in. BUT.... you also need a zipper on the pants, or some kind of easier way to get in or out of. After all he created the luk. For his wedding. There is gonna be drinking and dancing. The man is gonna need to pee. So in his design that means he needs to pull the pants down to pee. In a public bathroom. He couldn’t just straight up pull them up. He shimmied into them. So that means he would have to also shimmy them down to “go”. Bad design. He should of at least took a sawing class to learn the basics before he tried to saw a outfit.

As someone who does sew, I’m very impressed with how your outfit came out for your first time sewing ever. Especially without using a pre-made pattern and instructions! Staying up late for multiple nights and having multiple breakdowns is very common when sewing, and you were still determined to get it done. Sleeves are also very hard to do in general, so you’re not alone there. Some tips to make the next version of this outfit even better (the design of it is amazing too btw), is to make an inner layer for the jacket so all of the ends have nice seams and to hem any other edges so that the fabric doesn’t fray. I wish you the best of luck with your outfit and I can’t wait to see the final final product!

Ryland, I know you most likely won't see this; but I have been binge watching your channel recently and I just want to commend you for all that you do. I see how much you do in that house, cleaning it on your own and it's NOT small. You cater to your dogs and cat every need and they adore you, constantly following you around and being by you is a huge sign of how much comfort you give them and how much they love you and how much you love them, which is amazing. While Shane is doing his thing- you are constantly a source of comfort and consistently, and to your sister as well-always there for her and enjoying her company and vice versa. I envy you, not for the things you have but for how selfless you are and how the little things I see you do in your videos aren't meant to be the center of attention but they stand out to me. omg I feeeeeeel this... sewing can be sooo defeating when you are teaching yourself ONTOP of not using a pattern...I don't know how many times I tried and retried making custom patterns with knowing absolutely nothing about patterns and never using a premed pattern ever before.... just like you one day got so excited and was like yeah I can sew and make something amazing litterally went out and bought EVERYTHING I had no idea I probably didn't need... bought whatever fabric I thought looked cool ontop of that I was creating 4-legged dog pyjamas so its not like I could try it on and pin in onto a subject.... finally I bought a pattern and it clicked after that... it still took me a while to figure how actual seams worked and how to finish them in different ways honestly for your first time this is actually amazing
