never EVER thought of overcasting by hand! Perfect suggestion. That was like 20 lessons !! and I'm almost starting to understand. To me those finishes look so much better than a serger. THANKS for sharing

Awww thank you so much Kathy! I will try to make a video some time in the future showing different ways to overcast :)) Also, I agree! Lots of finishes without the serger look beautiful!

My machine only has the basic zigzag and i cant afford a fancy machine. I decided to buy an overcast foot for it and WOW what a difference in how it works!

Yes! Indeed. Almost like a serger!

Awesome work! I'm so glad I found this one, I need to learn as many finishes as I can not having a surger anymore. If you haven't done a video of finishes, please do! I'm new to your channel and am loving all you do. You're so talented I'm just always loving your videos!😀

For the continuous binding, we needed a close up when you are preparing the tube, can’t see any detail. That’s the most important part. If those lines don’t match from either piece of fabric, it won’t work
@DowntownTailoring Жыл бұрын
Yes. You need to make them match the best you can. It doesn’t need to be perfect. Rather good enough. Good luck 🥰
