Your mug rug is so cute Becky and I really liked the gift you put together for your sisters ❤️ Your new top looks great! I make plans for most things, but not for sewing. I just sew whatever I feel like whenever I feel like it.

Happy New Year!! Very cute Christmas top. You can wear that pattern all winter long. It will brighten up a dreary, cold winter day. I keep a small sewing journal to keep tract of projects & tutorials i find on You Tube or on line. Sometime it's difficult to find those tutorials & sites again. I also include the amount of fabric and any notions needed. I take it with me when I go to the fabric store. I take a picture of my projects, and front & back of pattern envelopes to have with me when I shop. Happy sewing in 2024!!!!

I enjoy your videos. I agree that I want to make what I think I will wear. I am also trying not to buy new fabric until I use up some of what I have in my collection. I haven’t made anything for months but I am trying to motivate. I appreciate your videos for inspiration.

Love your mug rug Becky! The added star is just the perfect little touch. I really want to try to add embroidery to my mug rugs this year. I tried to keep a sewing journal on paper, but then I would always forget to add the info on there. So instead, I decided to subscribe to the Stash Hub app and keep track of everything on there. It’s fabulous and works so well for me because I now have access to my « sewing journal » on my phone, on my iPad and on my computer. No more excuses! 🤣💞

Your Christmas shirt is so pretty! I love the sewing journal idea. I keep all kinds of joirnals but I let my sewing one slack off last year in like.. February. Need to hit the restart button on that this year. Great to see you!!!❤

I have also started putting sticky notes on the pattern envelope with a small fabric swatch which I staple to the back of the envelope so it doesn't come off so easily. I won't keep up with a journal! Love your Christmas top and the cowl neck doesn't look to big. Making goals isn't my thing as I'm a mood sewer but I'm trying to work on getting a better fit since I'm having shoulder fit problems. It's good to see you back.

Love your top....it looks good on you. That's good that you will be making notes on adjustments that you make in a notebook. I actually put a sticky note, secured with a pin, along with a clipping of the fabric right on the back of the pattern envelope. I also put the date along with my actual measurements on the note as well. I can just take off the sticky note when i need to look at the back of envelope. My sister actually lost her notebook with all of her adjustments to patterns in it. Just my two cents....

Love your Christmas top for next year! I have issues with big 4 patterns. I tried to make a dress in Butterick and sewed the size for my measurements and it was way too big. I know when I make a laundry day tee dress it’s gonna fit great. So I have a hard time making other things.

Thank you! I always feel like Big 4 patterns are challenging and almost always have to make adjustments. I find that Love Notions patterns usually fit better and I don't have to make as many adjustments. Thanks for watching!☺
