Hi Sharon, as far as I'm concerned, "it is the BEST DRAGON tutorial I have ever seen! I just completed all my individual parts, now I need to add the Nostrils and other parts on the head. I can't believe I got this far! I worked on it a little bit every day. Thank you!

For the most part I didn't have any trouble making most of the parts, but for the wings and sewing the head and putting the parts together your video was a tremendous help . Thank you very much for all your hard work

This is so informative and helpful thank you for sharing I have made your small and mighty dragon and look forward to trying these dragons

Looked at the other videos on here and I think this one is the best as the dragon does not look like it has been crocheted by a child and it is very easy to follow. Tried looking for a unicorn to do next but all on You Tube are not very good

Sharon, do you think you can find a video for a unicorn to crochet ??? My grandaughter loves unicorns, & looking it up there is no cute ones in english. Thanks :)
@rafaelaedwards86896 жыл бұрын
Hi Sherene, you probably found your unicorn pattern by now, but I have made a couple using a nice pattern in French with English subtitles. You can look for the channel Lidia Crochet Tricot. There are 2 videos. My unicorns turned out really cute! :)

I love this pattern and I'm almost ready to assemble and be done. I really wish in the written instructions you mentioned that the hdc's were the bottom and sc's were the top. I didn't even consider that and I added my nostrils before the video was uploaded and I think the head may be a little sideways. Not a big deal but something to consider. :) I bought more yarn to make a second one already! I will post on FB when done.
@SharonOjala8 жыл бұрын
I just updated the written pattern. It's a good point to add, thanks. I've been working for days and days on this trying my best not to leave anything out, my apologies for that. The assembly post plus video will be up today.. the written part with photos first as youtube is super slow!

Thank you! I am enjoying the process very much and can't wait to finish my first one. :)

Thank you so much for this amazing pattern Sharon. I am just a beginner, and so far it's going great. I am sewing the bits onto Sleepy Dragon's head. Your dragon has ridges on the top of his head, yet the video said the ridges were only for the fierce dragon. Do I need to add the ridges? Thank you.
@SharonOjala5 жыл бұрын
you don't have to add them. The ridges can change the look of the head and face quite a bit. If I remember correctly, I gave some ideas for ridges and show how to start them and leave you decide what you want to do with them. It's been about 3+ years since I made the videos. If you go to this post, the Sleepy dragon (green) has small ridges on his head but none on his face making him look a bit friendlier. You can add them, or leave them off, it's totally up to you what you do with the ridges. www.amigurumitogo.com/2016/06/dragons-in-my-kitchen-free-pattern-with.html

I think at 11.35 you went backwards a clip?
@SharonOjala8 жыл бұрын
no, I explained that earlier at about 9:35. You can put the eyes on before or after the ridges. I let the viewer decide what would be easier for them
@poppergurl8 жыл бұрын
Ahh ok thanks, I'd love to make this. How long does one take you?
@SharonOjala8 жыл бұрын
it's about 16 inches tall if you use the yarn weight and hook size I say to in the written pattern. And I don't know how long, the first 2 I made I guess a day or so. I crochet fast but I also have kids that I tend to in between stitches, lol I couldn't tell you but it really is an individual thing for timing anyway since we all crochet at different speeds. How fast it takes me wouldn't necessarily give you a good idea how long it would take you. Some people need a few days to complete the parts and a day for assembly.

do you mean late for the crochet along? If so, this is a different dragon. This dragon you're commenting on is large. The one I'm doing for the crochet along is quite smaller. The information for the crochet along and links to the pattern is on my blog here www.amigurumitogo.com/2018/07/small-dragon-crochet-along-part-one.html
