I feel so inspired by you Brogan! In the last few weeks I've made my first ever dress (with tiers and ruffles!), and also had a go at shirring a top. It's so much fun, and watching creators like you makes it feel a lot less daunting. I love the Dunelm bedding sale for finding cheap fabrics for beginner projects!

Love the tour! Could you at some point make a video of the whole process of making a garment? Like from finding the pattern online, cutting it out, etc… that would be amazing! I love sewing what I can but I find it hard to find cute patterns x

Thank you for the tour, I love your sewing room! What do you do with remnants of fabric...do you keep them and how do you store them? I always struggle with it, I don't want to chuck them but they make my room look messy 🙈😅

So actually just got rid of a load of scraps as I’d been hoarding them for ages! I just had them in a big bag and they were taking up too much room. I tend to use most of my remnants to make small dresses/ tops for my neice- it’s the perfect way to use us leftovers xx

Thanks, that’s definitely what I was going for- practicality is key in a small sewing space! I only have a ceiling light in there- I find the light in my sewing machine enough for sewing at in the evenings xx

That’s such a great idea. I’m a seasoned pdf user myself, but I know how daunting it can be starting out with pdfs. I’ve learnt a lot along the way through trial and error so I bet Brogan could do a brilliantly informative video for those just starting out. 😊
