Me too! Definitely worth the bit more than I usually would have spent. I’ve already worn it a few times and I think it will be a staple!

I already had this pattern, but the instructions short circuited my brain. So thank you for helping me understand 😅😁

It is a bit strange that you can’t try it on until it’s almost completely done!

Love it! I bought it during one of the sales, I can't wait to start it. Looking for fabric I love. I like to use 100% cotton, because I love natural fabrics, they last the longest.. wear well, and feel great.

I'm one of those folks who like size adjustable clothing. I really hate having anything tight around my waist and belly, and I think this dress will fit the bill for me. The final result looks fabulous. Now I'm going to have to check out the next pattern sale at my local Joann Fabrics. As you were talking about the pattern and the sizing I paused the video to get a good look at the sizing measurements and the finished garment measurements. Normally I'm around a 32-34, but seeing the finished measurements I'm thinking that I could make the dress and have it fit in a size 22. Though I'd probably do a 24, just to be sure. Oh, and you're so correct about the price of patterns. I had a sewing teacher that told us all to never pay full price for a pattern. It's good to know about the hem length issue for larger busted folks (like me) wanting to wear the wrap like you do. Thanks for this.

Thank you! Yes, there is a ton of ease in this, and the pieces are fairly simple so easy to add room if needed as well! I’m glad I figured out the gem issue before trying to make one with a ruffle! That could have been disappointing. Please let me know how it turns out if you make one!

I just finished view B, I went two sizes down, it is so cute. If I have any advice it would be to make the ties a little bit longer for more tying options.

Thanks so much for sharing. How much fabric did you start with using the duvet cover? Thanks in advance; and God bless!

A duvet cover is the perfect thing for this pattern. The pieces were too wide for my muslin 😅lol

Thank you for this review, perfect summer dress. The photo shoot was very well done. When and where you found a field with sunshine and warmth amazes me. I live in Michigan and I think we have had 2 days when the weather was suitable for summerish clothes. Were due for snow again on Tuesday. Glad I found your vlog again, I am subscribed now. I will buy this pattern, long seams but very straight and simple.

Thank you! I’ve been trying to upgrade my “reveal” footage, so I appreciate the feedback! I’m in the Ann Arbor area and we’ve had a couple nice days so far, though the snow keeps hanging on here as well. Please let me know if you make the pattern and how it works for you!

I am so glad I watched this! I am going to take your tie trick when I make it soon since summer in Michigan should be here soon.
