Sewing the Sicily Slip Dress

Hello again dear viewer!
I have continued to check things off my to-sew list and am delighted to share with you the making of my Sicily Slip Dress!
Admittedly this didn’t turn out quite how I had hoped due to a poor fabric choice on my part. I still very much enjoy the pattern and imagine I will still get some wear out of the top version.

As mentioned I think they are a fantastic store. I will get better at picking fabrics over time!

What a great video thank you, full of really helpful details. I’ve just bought this pattern and found your channel from the Instagram tag. I’m planning to do an FBA on this so crossing my fingers it works ok. I’m well versed in FBAs but this will be my first on a bias grain. Handily though I saw a suggestion on the Threads website to rotate the dart to a french one so it ends up on the straight grain. How wrong can it go... 🤣

Great Video, may i ask what size did you cut ?

Thank you so much! Not a problem! I was a little conservative so I cut a size D, but ended up taking in the sides, so do recommend just sticking with your measurements.
