Afshan Malik some people tape on the cellotape on the machine. U can try watch sewing tips from other utubers. They do show this tip.

A couple of tips from one more novice: - You can stick painter's adhesive tape (masking tape) on the bed, but remember to remove it as soon as you're done with it. Otherwise the darn thing might leave glue on the bed. - Get the habit of watching your guide, tape or else, but *not the needle*, when you want to sew a straight line. - Train and practice. Draw straight lines on a piece of paper, and try to follow them the best you can. You don't even need thread for that, so it's quick and cheap. When you can acurately and quickly sew over lines on paper, draw lines on scrap/scravenged fabric, thread your machine, and repeat exercise. Use same method to pratice sewing broken lines (triangle, square, etc), then curves, then smaller and smaller circles (spirals).
