Awesome video! I agree with everything! I agree about the NYC Frocktail because out of all of them, I have been anxious to attend one due to seeing the photos and videos from that. I plan to go to the Chicago one in June because I live an hour away and can drive. Too bad you can’t attend 😞. I purchased the pearl kit after seeing Mimi 🤣🤣🤣 🤦🏽‍♀️. I’m loving the cargo skirt patterns. Bring on the peach 🍑!!!

Great information Raveen Maureen! I enjoyed your predictions. I am an observer, not visible on social media but look forward to visiting the different sewing communities. One trend that i see coming back is big and bold chunky jewelry...statement necklace pieces, rings, bracelets and earnings. I already have a few pieces that I've gotten from resale shops. I’m an inflation nerd: The inflation rate in the US was 3.1% for 2023. From 1989 - 2019, the average inflation rate in the US was 2.5%. Ideally, the rate should be 2%. So we’ve improved dramatically since 2022, when the rate averaged 8%. I hope the denim on denim trend can be incorporated into the up cycling trend because there is so much denim in thrift stores.
