Why 3.1”? Why not just 3”? Also you did not give the length of the pieces. How would we know?

I've found that a lot of European countries Quilters use cm when measuring, and not inches, hence the 3.1".

@stormyg1945, no shit, really? I'd never have known had you not told me that. 🙄🙄 If the person doing the video wanted to do 3", then it would be 7.62cm. They didn't, though, they're wanted to do their measurements in xmas, hence 3.1". 😉
