Thank you so very much ❤. I am learning so much about my B475 and B720 from you. You are a God-send.😊

I don't know what I would do without you Cody. I bought a used B740 so didn't get lessons on my machine. I'm learning everything from you. You're the best!

Thank you! I tried it and it works. I've been so frustrated when instructions say to zigzag the raw edge and it always ends up bunched. I am so grateful for your video!

Thanks for sharing the information on the creative consultant and how it will change settings for me, rather than trying to figure it out on my own. Awesome!

Sadly no creative consultant on my Bernina 830, but it does have that overlock stitch, so am off to buy a No 2 foot now. Thank you for the demo and clear explanation :).

Cody, thanks for the video. I love my 2a foot. I do not have a serger/overlocker machine. I tried using my zig zag stitch but it doesn’t keep the fabric flat like the 2a.

Thank you for the informative video. You don't need to backstitch or secure the stitches?

I see you have an overview of some particular Bernina machines. I have a nearly new 440QE that I only learned the very basics of when I bought it new. Would you kindly do an overview of my machine? I would LOVE to be able to use it to its potential. Thank you for doing these videos for us all!! You and informative and you make it fun to learn!

I would love to do an overview of the bernina 440 but I don't have access to one since it has been discontinued for so many years now. Every once in a while I get one as a trade in, so next time i get a trade in I will do an overview. :)

If I already have this foot, do I still need to get a serger/overlocker to prevent fabric from fraying? Is pinking shears a good alternative?
@lindajwilson98483 жыл бұрын
Having not used my Bernina 440 QE in a while, I am interested in using the No. 2 overlock foot. My machine does not have the "consultant" and the overlock stitch on my foot sheet looks different, ie on a single stitch between the zig-zag overlock. Is this the correct selection, No. 3 on my push button menu. Old fashioned, but I quite like my 440.

I used this but it does not turn corners.
@sewingwithcodyandpete86514 жыл бұрын
In order to turn corners you have to make sure you release the stitch from the stitch finger. So to do this when you reach a corner lift your foot, and pull your fabric towards the back just a little and this will release the stitch from the little guide. Then you can place the fabric back underneath the foot and start stitch from the edge like normal.
