Detailed Bernina L860 overlocker / Serger Stitches

Here is a few of the of the stitches and how to set them up on the bernina L860 and L890. We did a rolled hem, flat lock seam, and two thread overlock stitching. These are the bases of all of the stitches on this machine. Many of the other stitches these machines are capable of doing is just a variation of these three stitches.

Oh yes this machine is incredible and yes once the customer gets passed the feat that it is a serger then they are golden. It sews just like a sewing machine is what most of my customers say after they've sewn on it. So easy to thread and use. Glad you enjoyed the video and Happy New Year :)

I have the 460 and love it. However, I have gadget lust and am saving now for this unit. Stitch wise this has an extra 2 stitches. Blanket edge stitches. Hardware wise it's obvious..

How much is a little how much is a lot to unscrew for the needle? Don’t tighten or the screw will hit something…look at the window to be sure needle is in far enough. You gotta be kidding.!!! ‘See, “. how? I’m 78 yrs old? See through the window? What window? you mean a microscopic dot? This needle changing process is so BAD. by the way. I am the wife of the guy in the picture. I’ve sewn since 10 years old and have owned a Baby Lock for over 30 years. Decided to upgrade. Did I hear you correctly, on another video, stating putting more pressure on the foot control makes the machine sew faster? You mean like depressing your gas peddle makes your car go faster? Wow, so unique. Cody, you seem like a nice guy. Do you know how to fix a locked screen? How to get the machine to operate when it no longer is touch sensitive? Turning the machine off n on is not the solution, as someone else suggested. Thanks Mari. N
