I have watched every year and have not been tempted to purchase....I'm a 60+ years seamstress/quilter and really have all the notions and fabric I need. But, I must admit that this year, MSQC has outdone themselves---I'm impressed with the assortment of gifts this year!

I was wondering if I was the only one living vicariously through Kris. I'm in my 70's and don't "collect" any more. This is the 3rd year I've watched Kris (isn't she adorable) and am not tempted to buy. But it is fun to see all the surprises and Kris' enthusiasm.

Another fun day. I’ve watched every year like many others and definitely agree this is the best box they have ever done. Only one or two things were not my cup of tea. Enjoy the pillow-making! I think Riley Blake has a pillow-of-the-month they run every year. I agree; it’s clips. Wawak’s are the least expensive I’ve found with no loss in quality. If I lose 1-2 per 100 to breakage (cost is $6.95), that is okay with me. I need to get a couple more tins of them. The only thing I do not like about theirs is that the lid of the tin does not fit under the tin as a holder so I keep losing the lids as stuff shifts around my sewing area. I’m planning a complete overhaul of my space in conjunction with Karen Brown of Let’s Get it Done Quilts’ De-Clutter Challenge. Not much quilting happening in January :(

Last year at this time I started my sewing room overhaul. Let's just say that when I started, I expected it to take a week and it ended up taking over a month, yikes! But it was the best thing that I've ever done because I enjoy my sewing room so much more now. Wishing you the best with yours!

I did make it! I got the pattern on Etsy. The pattern is okay, but there is a lot of waste with it. It It is the Snowbound Quilted Santa Hat Sewing Pattern by Melissa Mortenson of Polka Dot Chair. Hope this helps!
