I would like to share my opinion and experience on the question why women are less interested in sex than men. I believe, and I know that one of the biggest reasons that I’ve experienced and have had friends and other people to share is our/women, sexual appetite is connected directly to our heart/emotions. If we feel hurt, offended, or disrespected, in any kind of way, it lessons, our appetite to be with the man that we usually can’t get enough of. Mental emotional and physical pain causes us to say no, not right now or I don’t feel like it.
@blessedandfavored9242 Жыл бұрын
I agree with the reason however I would say “why SOME women” because I know a couple of women who have more of a sex drive & always horny more than the man. But like you disclaimed… your experience. But I love your comment cuz it’s so facts to me.

But this conversation needs to be had before you get married because you got a lot of men that are married to females and majority of them are committing adultery, because the female never disclosed that they didn’t give oral or did it in the past, and they didn’t disclose that to their future husband. This is open dialogue and these conversations need to be had during the premarital process. Sex is something that can ultimately break the relationship or make the relationship. This is why premarital counseling is needed. These questions need to be asked in the beginning, and before you go to the altar.. just like the weight gain on a female or male. This conversation needs to be had before you get married if they expect you to stay a certain type of way, work out with them, eat a certain type of way, or live a vegetarian or Presbyterian lifestyle, you should know what type of puddle you’re stepping into before you go to. The altar is all I’m trying to say. A lot of people are getting married to the wrong people because they don’t fully know these people get to know somebody before you get in the bed with them, get to know somebody before you put a ring on them. Females are finding out that men are not providers and they’re ultimately lazy gamers. I’m now seeing people are married and now trying to add people to their marriage. It’s adultery gone wild.

I mentioned to my wife that from my viewpoint it does seem like sex is placed last of all. And yes she too often seems disturbed, stressed, and have a mind full. But I also think she some times fills her own mind w/ things that are stressful and disturbing, but by choice. I tell her the reason I'm sexually motivated bcuz I really just ignore things that are hectic in favor of desiring pleasure to and from her.

This is EXCELLENT teaching concerning sex God's way. The church needs to hear this message, instead of listening to the world's perverted views about sex. You cannot teach effectively what you have not experienced. And it seems like Ken and Tabitha have experienced what they are teaching. I'm 54yrs young, never been married, and have never heard this type of great teaching on sex God's way. My greatest take away is when Ken mentioned @25:55 that his psychologist, who has been married for over 40yrs, said "sex gets better as you add on yrs because it's not just the physical part of sex, it's the intimacy." WOW!!! How many Christian couples have experienced that!?!?

The husband having authority over his wife’s body needs to be balanced with the husband needing to dwell with his wife according to knowledge; he must lead by understanding his wife intimately in all respects and then there is mutual submission which allows them each to meet and understand each other’s needs.

Wow this is good and needed, I have been married 28 years and I agree with you when you say that communication is key because at one time I did not enjoy sex and I had to pray and ask the Lord to help me and now it is Great! Also I think when we as women don't want to have sex with our husband there is a root cause of that mindset, it may be something in our past or it could be that the husband don't satisfy her. That is why transparent communication is so important. Thanks again for sharing this!!👐

You are certainly right. It is not always about, the woman "not feeling like it", but there are underlying reasons that cause a woman not to want to have sex like a lack of intimacy outside the bedroom or unresolved conflict.

Question how does it work if the woman libido has become very low after having her 2nd child. And on top of that the wife and your husband is constantly arguing and the husband is not meeting the wife needs emotionally and mentally? But the husband continues to only focus on getting sex instead of looking at what has been brought to his attention for the last couple of years on top of the sex drive is low. I agree with you when it come to the Bible. But I have heard some preachers say the man/husband holds that responsibility of wanting the wife to be submissive (including sex) . To where if he is honoring her as the Bible says then it would not be something that the wife should be asked to do. She will automatically have the feeling to give him whatever he wants.

A lot of women who have experienced sexual abuse at whatever age need to get healed before they get married. A young Pastor told me the woman he married had been sexually abused and when it came to them having intimate time she didn't want to he said. He said it was as if she was an old woman who didn't want to be touched. He also said to me, I'm young and I have needs, so he went outside of the marriage to get his needs met.

I love this segment. To me I’m stuck in the the part about “communicating with each other” is the “loophole” for down time and revitalizing/reprioritizing your self and learning through the reading of the word, and taking advantage of that downtime to enhance your relationship with God and to intimacy in the relationship so that when the two come together again to have sex both will be available to give “authority” of oneself without restriction. So, I’m receiving the word “authority” in more on a level of “being willing to give” of yourself in that(each time you have sex) wholeheartedly because you’ve each “agreed” on a downtime period that works for the two of you. Not looking at that scripture on a “political” level even though “man” has “politician’s” have “politicized” the top of sex and reproductive rights by “manipulating” the scripture. I looking at it from my spiritual lens in that God is emphasizing the “communication” is the common denominator in this lesson and coming to a “mutual” agreement between the two parties so both are understanding the assignment is that both are being satisfied and neither are be left unsatisfied or tempted to step outside of the marriage. I think “consistent communication” is key in this area as in all aspects of the relationship. Thank you both Ken and Tabatha. I love ❤️ what you are bringing to the social media and the world of spirituality. I would like to hear more commentary on this topic. 🙌🏿😮

Also, it's not marriage that changes the sex. I've lived with 2 men before(separate times, shaking up. Living in sin in my past) and it still dies after you have the daily routines of work, bills, taking care of the house, etc. What comes easy is occasional sex. Date sex. When i see you sex. Next time we go out sex. Not we live together and are around each other everyday with frustrations, stress, depression, fatigue, not eating as much, exercise, etc that spaces it out until you only think of sex. You don't physically have the energy to get into it and you're just not aroused. Common issue in women because we don't get testosterone build up. Which men don't understand. So it's our job to understand. Key words. It's just pressure really. Not trauma, not medical reasons. Like those are the only reasons that men can use to make it make sense. It can literally be NONE of those things and she's completely healthy and healed. SHE'S JUST NOT A MAN lol i know it seems like I'm fussing but it's not rocket science. Men just don't i get it. So why not teach men tips on how to get their woman in the mood and get her juices flowing. Not tell her to figure it out. It does seem very one sided.

I think some women are less interested in sex than men because for men, it seems that sex is about the "feeling," and for women, sex is about the connection. Also our bodies are different. A man can achieve orgasm pretty much 100% of the times that he has sex. There are some women who have been having sex for YEARS and have never achieved orgasm. It just is the as pleasurable for some women as it is for men.

This was good but it missed the usual issue. Husbands are expecting wives to work and contributes to bills, but ALSO to do a majority of the housework/childcare. It’s an improbable formula. Women are the weaker vessel. If she wants to do it all, let it be her decision and hers alone. The biblical model is for women to work at/from home. When too much is placed on her, her sexual desire will absolutely diminish.

Took the time to communicate an most likely did it. How many times our wants and needs fall on deaf ears and that in itself is rejection. Women are rejected by their man all day as he talks down to her, yells, belittled etc. It's only normal to be turned down at night. Sometimes women do not have abuse but have had men who are selfish and just want their goal met. That was my case. I was put on the back burner as a object to serve and never knew I had a voice to say enough! I matter too!!!

We are a young couple. I’ve always wanted to be physically intimate more than him. I can count on 1 hand how many times I may have told him “no”. He says he just doesn’t think about it that often or doesn’t assert himself. (His testosterone levels are fine) I have asked him to prioritize my physical needs too because I’m always available for him and I want to be! I feel so much resentment because we have no intimacy in or outside the bedroom. I’ve cried, yelled, prayed for him to desire me and it’s so hard. Can you please speak on this or point me to somewhere where you have discussed this?
